“The accommodation in the Posada is basic but clean and there was a lovely lounge area to relax, and safe parking for our motorbike nearby. The absolute highlight of our stay was the fabulous dinner we had at the associated restaurant La Lalola. Both the Posada and the restaurant are run by Bruno. The Restaurant is exceptional in every way. Gentle jazz music playing in the background and just 5 candlelit tables make it a very welcoming and intimate experience. There is no menu, Bruno serves a series of fabulous tasters all made by him with fresh ingredients. He serves them himself together with an explanation of the dish and if you like, he will also recommend suitable wines to accompany your meal. We had a very memorable and enjoyable evening and Bruno was the perfect host! (For any Brits visiting, you may be interested to know Lalola was mentioned in The Guardian!) I highly recommend The Posada Lalola.. for us it has been one of the major highlights of our trip.”
“Beautiful location and the owners were very friendly. Very clean and comfortable with lots of space to sit around both inside and outside. There were tea and coffee making facilities and an honesty fridge for beer and wine.
We had a lovely breakfast overlooking the valley with birds flying around.”
“Beautiful place with amazing nature. Best choice to spend some days far from civilisation. Owners are very welcoming and ready to help with all your wishes. Special thanx to Maribel for her wonderful dinners! Breakfasts were also delicious and rich!”
“Beautiful location. Lovely building. Warm, comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful when asked. Buffet breakfast was average. Choice of eggs. No bacon/ sausage etc. make your own coffee but coffee poor quality. Dinner that same every night. Well cooked. Good wine list reasonably priced.. Marc made the best Gin and tonics ever!”
“The hotel is a delight, great personally selected furniture, art on the walls - and the owner is fantastically helpful with advice, tips and recommendations. And her homemade fig-and-fruit jam on a pancake for breakfast is just the perfect start to the day.”
“Beautiful place . Nice lounge. The food is not to my expectations. The dinner is with limited items but expensive. Breakfast is cheaper and with more items.”
