“The entrance to the hotel gave us the impression of arriving in an enchanted house in the middle of the forest, it was beautiful!
Moreover, we chose a Japanese style room and we slept like babies.
The women's onsen was also perfect: several hot baths, a cold one to give us energy, a sauna and a magnificent outdoor bath which again gave us the feeling of bathing in the middle of the forest.
Breakfast was amazing too. Lots of choice, everything was neat and delicious. We loved the atmosphere and the view on the garden.
And last but not least, the staff was really helpful and lovely from start to finish! :)”
“The hotel is clean and comfort to stay. Quite central which easy to find food and supermarket. Also like the amenities such as Washing machine for us to wash our clothes. Love the compliments of sweet and some mint teas.”
“Exceptional - from pulling up into the lobby the attentiveness, the lovely Okhotsk room with private onsen overlooking the harbour, 24hour lobby lounge access for complimentary drinks and the order to serve dinner and breakfast. Despite being very popular, the hotel never felt overwhelmingly crowded.”
“The hotel is located right on the seaside, with beautiful views from the windows. Our three-person room was huge and included all ammenities, including a tv set, an electric kettle, a fridge. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel, with a common space that includes a fully equipped kitchen where guests can hang out and chat with the members of the management (owners?). The staff is friendly and helpful, speaks some English. The location is unbeatable - you can easily walk around the town from there, or drive to Shiretoko.”
“It was possible to also have dinner a bit spontaneously in the evening when arriving and it was very delicious. The room itself is probably not too spacious if there are three people in, but I only had one roommate and that was no problem. The host is extremely nice.”
