“The cabin was clean and functional with a superb view on the mountain. The location is perfect next to the scenic road and the Geiranger. There is a small playground on side.
The home-made pastries were excellent and the owner was friendly.
We would go back without hesitation.”
“Wonderful place! The hotel is located in a very quiet village at the coast of the deepest lake in Europe – Hornindalsvatnet! The rooms were clean, the beds were very soft and comfortable, with warm blankets as it gets quite cold during the night. The rooms had great views towards the lake and because of that we got to (kind of) see the Northern lights! The hotel also has a nice garden, where you can relax at the sight of the beautiful Norwegian nature. For convenience there is also a supermarket close by. We had a wonderful time there and we’re looking forward to coming back again someday!”

“Staff were really helpful - and arranged for us (and a few other 'private' guests) to have our dinner - a buffet - before the coachload of a tour group arrived. Despite the large tour group our quiet room at the end of a corridor ensured that we weren't disturbed by the coach tour's early departure on the next morning. Excellent location, and good wholesome traditional Norwegian food.”
