“As always, Reception staff were outstandingly welcoming, friendly and helpful ( and even bore patiently our attempts to speak French!). The rooms remain spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The beds are especially comfortable. Once again, our request for a ‘fridge in the room was met without trouble. We have visited many times before over the years, and hope to do so again. We enjoy the setting, use of the swimming pool facilities and ease of access by car. We did not use the restaurant this visit and so cannot report whether the service and quality of food has improved. But it was not good in 2023 or in June of this year on our previous visits ( see my previous reviews thereon).”

“The hotel was in a very good location in walking distance to the old town and cathedral square where there were plenty of restaurants and bars .
Breakfast was good with plenty of hot or cold choices.
Our room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.
The staff were friendly and very helpful and supplied us with a useful map of the town.”
“The rooms were clean and there was a car park. They allowed dogs, and there are several casual restaurant choices nearby.”
“The location was fabulous for our stop off before the ferry. Good choice of bars and restaurants and able to walk around the seafront and catch some local architecture.”
