“Right by the sea and castle.”

  • Toad Hall Hostel Review Score: 5

“The location was excellent (and was quiet, except for the 6 am roosters, which I didn't mind). There were electric heaters, which was very helpful this wet June, and the shower was great. The windows all opened (and it was clear that the owners had gone to a big effort at expensive window renovations.) The WiFi was good. I didn't meet the owners at all but I didn't need to, as I had written instructions on how to get my key.”

“Brilliant views out of our room and the hotel lounge over the lake and mountains. Room was clean and the bed was super comfy.”

  • Old Rectory Country Hotel Review Score: 10

    “Beautiful grounds and reception”

  • The Pier Hotel Review Score: 8

“Great location just off the seafront. Bedroom and bed linen were spotless. Two pairs of curtains on the bay window meant the room was lovely and dark for sleeping. Bed was very comfy.”

“The photos on here are not what you get. Bed was clean . Staff were rude, couldn’t even say good morning!”
