“The location is brilliant. You can walk to the Prado and the Botanic Gardens in 5 minutes, Reina Sofia in 10, Retiro is 15 and the Plaza Mayor in 20. The immediate area is great lots of bars, restaurants, some small shops and a really upbeat, positive atmosphere. And yet the room itself is really lovely and quiet. The staff are lovely, the bed very comfortable.”

“Madrid happened to be very busy from the 13-18 June and this was the cheapest accommodation that I could find for 5 nights. The room was very comfortable especially the bed. Even though the room was hot the curtains did a good job to keep out the heat. The Air con managed to keep the room cool. The WiFi was good - there was a small fridge in the room as well as a hot plate but I didn’t use that. As there are no restaurants in the area I ate some food from the bar on the first floor (hot dog/pizza/sandwiches/drinks) which you can buy from the vending machine”
