  • Foghorn Harbor Inn Review score: 8

“This was a good value, small, older motel right on the beach at the marina. It has a great view, although our room did have one since it was on the back side. The bed was really, really comfortable. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk to shops and restaurants.”

  • “The hotel staff were exceptional. Nice big clean room . Slightly dated but wasn’t an issue. Great pool and hot tub.”

  • “The location is awesome! Walking distance to attractions.”

  • Best Western Plus Pavilions Review score: 10

“Made great use of the Dennys next door and the bus stop right outside! Use the number 50 bus though, the expensive ones are a waste of money buying passes cos they don't turn up! Uber to Disneyland gate was cheap. Staff were wonderfully helpful!!”

  • “Very nice place, I loved the fact that it was so close to the Airport and that I just needed to hop onto a free shuttle. The staff was simply amazing ( special thanks to Darren for his kindness ) and the spacious rooms are a real solace after long flights . The complimentary breakfast was good too ! I especially loved the little robot help for special deliveries like a new set of keys, that was very cute and funny . The place is as advertised on Booking.com so nothing wrong here.”

  • “The room despite being quite small was clean. The bed was comfy and I had a big locker to storage my suitcase. The air-conditioning was working 24/7 and helped falling asleep. Shared bathroom was spacious and in the evening there were to queues to showers. The location is near the Santa Monica Pier and within reach to many caffes, bars, restaurants and souvenires shops around. The staff was really friendly and helpful.”
