“This hostel was a lovely surprise. Set in a quiet garden on a side road near the centre of the town, the facilities were spacious and comfortable, with a large dining area and kitchen including tea and coffee, cupboard space and fridge for quests. The manager was very welcoming and made sure the place was kept clean and well run. There is a snug lounge with books as well.”
“The location is within easy reach of the town and the main road both North and South. There are beautiful views from the front of the hotel overlooking Loch Fyne and the surrounding hills. Our room was located overlooking a garden area which was quiet, you could occasionally hear vehicles on the main road but it was not obtrusive. There are rooms overlooking the car park/delivery area/ glass recycling bins at the rear of the hotel which I can guess could be noisy. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Crucially, the staff were friendly and courteous and are a credit to the hotel and the owners.”
