We arrived at Thistle House in the afternoon where the hostess greeted us with all the information we needed, a tour around the beautiful house and coffee in the lounge at the fireplace. We immediately felt very welcome and comfortable. The rooms are beautiful decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the view from the rooms are the best! Such an amazing scenery! Breakfast the next day was also very tasty and the two hostess' did their very best to make sure we had all we needed - and more! They even provided a birthday flag for our breakfast table since we were celebrating a birthday. We would all love to come back!

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is a beautiful old home that faces Loch Fyne with a view of Inveraray Castle across the water. The breakfast was delicious and the room was comfortable and well-furnished. There is a lovely parlor downstairs that guests can use. My husband and I sat and relaxed and read after a day of driving and navigation. The owner of the B&B is charming and friendly and even made us sandwiches for dinner when we said we were too tired to drive for dinner. This was the nicest B&B we stayed in during a two week trip to Scotland where all of our lodgings were good. This one was exceptional. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The location is stunning, beautiful garden and views, so tranquil. The hosts Sue and Avril are excellent and so welcoming, the breakfasts are delicious with lots of choices. The rooms are warm, very comfy and there is a beautiful lounge to relax in with a cuppa or glass of wine.

First of all, the hospitality was 2nd to none. The Inn itself is charming and beautiful - well maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable, Clean and lovely. Breakfasts were made to order and plenty of choices. The location was great for us to explore the Inverary and Oban areas on day trips.

10 out of 10, a magnificent old house and views to die for, a gem and the lady owners thought of everything. They were very hospitable and the entire experience very enjoyable . Breakfast was excellent and they truely deserve thier rating on Booking.com. The bed was an absolute highlight, so confortable, the best nights sleep I have had in a long while.

We received a warm welcome from Sue and she kindly arranged tea and freshly baked cake for us as we relaxed after our journey. The room was really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely book again if we are in the area.

We liked everything. However, the possibility of having a slightly later breakfast and checkout would make things less rushed in the morning.

Our room had a Loch view where we witnessed beautiful sunsets. The bed was extremely comfortable and in room amenities were great, lovely fluffy towels, toiletries, excellent bedding and a seating area. The whole house has been decorated beautifully and to a high standard which feels very welcoming and is also extremely clean. The shared lounge is a huge bonus and is very comfortable with great views over the Loch which you also get from the breakfast room and terrace. Breakfast was lovely, good selection and high quality produce, excellent poached eggs! Our hosts Avril and Sue were both very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning. We would highly recommend staying here.
