“The hosts Tina and Nino are the nicest people you are ever likely to meet. We stayed in their house in the room with our own bathroom and they live in their own part of the house. Our room was perfect with so much storage space and a very comfy bed, as an added bonus it also had air-conditioning, the bathroom was also excellent with a powerfull shower and plenty of hot water. Each morning Tina and Nino prepared a lovely breakfast which is taken on their terrace area overlooking Rapallo, we enjoyed watching Rapallo come to life each day while having breakfast. ilGirasole is literally a two minute walk to the train and bus stations, a five minute walk into the old town of Rapallo and a couple more minutes to the seafront. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Rapallo but don't eat too early as it comes to life after dark. Nino also organised safe parking for our car which in our case did not move for our entire stay. Totally recommended.”
