“The cabin was clean and well equipped. Not too hot, not too cold. The grounds are very well maintained and all of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Our view of the lake from the terrace was wonderful. Loads of plug sockets too with usb/usb-c chargers as well. Everything in the cabin was child friendly without not being adult friendly e.g. towel rail for sink under the sink, light switches lower.”

“I booked without knowing the area. The facilities exceeded what I was expecting. The premises were absolutely spotless and the bed very comfortable. They have limited parking but you can park on the street opposite (if you can find a space). I will definitely be returning.”
“Didnt have breakfast, we tend to eat outdoor in one of the lovely cafes. The bed was very comfortable.
The room was a good size with lots of light. I like the old building and its features. The hotel is central for accessing the area although it can be tricky to park, you have to walk with your luggage but we didnt mind that as neede to secure a parking space to have a break from driving. The seating is a little tired and the grounds at the front of the hotel but a great suntrap.”
