“Located right in the centre of old town close to all the attractions and the river. Bedrooms are very cosy and the lady who runs it is extremely friendly and kind.”
“Good new hotel; very good room, set breakfast OK (but lacking real coffee). The location on the southern edge of town can easily be reached with bus nr. 3 from the railway station to the Warszawska/Rydygiera stop and waking 300 m. onwards (the Warszawska/Solanki bus stop in front of the hotel is serviced by bus nr. 13 and 17, but infrequently and only upto 16:00 hr.).”
“Hotel Petit Fleur is heralded in the famous blue travel guide and surely has a marvellous location, right in the historic center of Torún. Arriving is pleasant as a driver, as the hotel has some reserved parking spaces (60 Zlt p/n). The check-in is a breeze and the staff is fluent in English. The building is historic and certainly breathes that atmosphere inside. The hotel is clearly owned by a gadget-guru, as you’ll find dimmable smart lighting in the room, remote controlled window blinds and a digital door lock. The hotel even has two Renault Twizzy (google that!) available for guests – along with some bicycles. Everything in the room is controlled by an tablet, though it takes some time to get used to. A laptop connected to the TV allows you to stream your favorite shows – albeit in a slightly odd manner. The hotel really shines at breakfast. The hot dishes are excellent, the choice at the buffet is impressive and the staff is very helpful and friendly. In all a very pleasant moment of the day, at which Petit Fleur competes with some of the best full-service hotels in Poland.”
“We stayed here as we were traveling across Poland as part of a larger road-trip. Given that Swindon is twinned with Torun we thought that we would check out what it's twin town was like. We chose Hotel 1231 as it was close to the castle and the old town. For a small additional fee you could book a parking place.
We were exceptionally surprised with the hotel and town. It was actually one of the highlights of the road-trip.
The rooms were good and the accompanying bar / restaurant was fantastic. The night we stayed here there was a (free) music event going on adjacent to the castle. This was a bonus addition to our stay.
Torun seems to embrace it's heritage and felt a very safe place to walk around, even at midnight after the music event.
Torun has plenty to see and Hotel 1231 is well situate to explore the town.
It's tourist office could claim, "It's everything that Swindon isn't (in a good way)"”
“The hotel is situated in the industrial area of Bydgoszcz, so out of the huge traffic and pollution. Nice place for staying near the city but far enough to have a rest.”
