The apartments are well located, you also can rent a scooter. Minimarkt nearby, best beach (South West) is walkable, a dive school also. Good bars and restaurants nearby. You will get lots of recommendations :)

“I really liked my stay there, Jeison was very helpful and effective whenever I had a demand! I was travelling alone but I felt safe there. I was the only guest at the hostel but the staff has been amazing to me, giving me advice on what to visit and so on. The hostel is situated very close to a very practical shop and to the start of some snorkelling tours, which I 100% recommend. Overall a very good experience!”

“The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉”
