“I knew the Cascades Inn about a decade ago, when I came for a conference. I was a bit worried about the term "motel" as it has negative connotations in other contexts, particularly Mexico. In short, The Cascades Inn is a family-friendly, renovated motel that is now a full-fledged hotel. A short 9 minute Lyft ride from the Sample Gates of Indiana University, it is far enough North to let you be away from the busy areas in the university area, but close enough that you can reach the campus by foot if need be (or if you want). Impeccably clean, superb bed, the wifi improved substantially after the first night. They clean the rooms every third day, which was fine for me. Shower temperature and pressure were fantastic. Comes with a small fridge, a microwave. I have stayed at The Cascades Inn several times and will continue to do so in the future.”
