“Best hostel if you want to climb Imbabura with personally the best owner I have met in Ecuador, Emerson. He is really interested to get to know you and help you with anything you need, also works as a guide for the Imbabura at a reasonable price. We even did a calesthenics workout together and his two dogs are super friendly and cute, can really recommend 10/10. Also a great kitchen and a beautiful view in the outside area :)”
“Aylluwasi is fabulous. In an original adobe house that is stunning, a few minutes walk to the Plaza de Ponchos. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated and we had the use of a kitchen. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful organizing transport to and from Quito airport.”
“It had a great time at Pacheco! I was lucky to get one of the two little houses next to the river as there were no guests. A shame because it's such a beautiful place and the intag valley is beautiful and safe to travel and hike around!
The house was so cute and comfy, and a really hot shower! The food was delicious. I probably had the best omelette of my life :)
The two ladies were so friendly, thank you so much for everything! I highly recommend to go here :)”
“The staff were very attentive, meeting us on arrival, welcoming us to our rooms immediately with local music and willing to help make our stay more enjoyable. Andres was quick to reply to our questions before arrival and on site. There was a wonderful welcome drink and snack provided in the evening along with a historical explanation of the property and live music. The food was excellent for lunch, dinner and breakfast. They had a variety of options for everyone, all diets and preferences. The grounds were beautiful and it was a very welcoming place for pets. There is a dog park on site as well as vast areas for animals to run and explore. Staff were also very accommodating and kind to our dog in all areas of the Hacienda.”
