“Room was basic but had everything you needed. Very quiet location with friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely, lots of it with something a little different each day. Ate there a couple of nights, can recommend the smoked salmon salad. Parking always available just outside.”

  • Mirador del Jazmín Review score: 10

“This place is not for people who want a Dubai-style 'luxury' hotel with a fake marble walk-in shower or rows of freebie shower gels. It is perfect for romantics. The view is enough to make you gasp - a row of arched windows looking out over Granada straight to the Alhambra and, to the right, views to the Cathedral. Absolutely magnificent. A huge, spectacular room, the balcony entirely private and not overlooked by anyone or anything. You can sit in the evening and watch the dusk and the moon rise over one of the most beautiful places on earth. A perfect central location. Comfortable seating areas in the huge room, as well as charming seating areas in the rest of the historic building, which is centred by a beautiful Renaissance open-air courtyard. Really personable decor and a very nice guy in charge.”
