“We had the most wonderful stay in the little Latvian paradise that the Kalnziedi house is :) The warmest welcome by the wonderful host including local treats, sweets and herbs; the greatest service; the beautiful surroundings with a pretty garden full of hortensias, comfortable garden furniture and a bonfire pit to roast your marshmallows; the wonderful sauna inside the house with all the amenities such as towels and birch branches; the tasteful interior design and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It's a perfect spot to explore and discover the central and eastern part of Latvia (it is also not far away from the Estonian border) - and also to just chill out and get some rest in this wonderful Latvian guesthouse. Thank you so much, the Kalnziedi people - we would definitely love to come back one day! Most recommended!”

“It’s very cozy, spacious, with 2 proper bedrooms, very good blankets, kitchen had all necessary amenities for cooking, good bathroom. I loved book shelves with latvian books and table games. The place is on the mountain, very good location, and there is small garden outside. This place is perfect for getting out of city hustle into quiet nature. I’d like to come here again. Big thanks to the owner Sanda for kind treatment, it made our stay very comfortable!”
