  • Casa Milia Review Score: 10

“The place is excellent. The hostess was welcoming and provided tea and cake upon our arrival. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The meal was up there with the best we have had. The meal was served in a way that we could help ourselves from the bowls and plates from the table. And it was real steak cooked to medium rare perfection. The wine was local and beautiful. The meal was 10 out of every 10. It’s about 7 minutes at the most off the Camino and really not an issue. We had a breakfast which was also excellent with toast spreads and ham.”

  • “It was an amazing experience, being inside and seeing the museum. Living there and experiencing that place was a really incredible experience. The staff was great and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good, with local products and their own bread! It’s been a long time that I hadn’t enjoy a stay as much as this one.”

“On a bus route, so easy to get in and out of town. The owner told us the bus times (20 to the hour) and it was about 15 mins in and out of Santiago. The house is I was told by guests, on the pilgrims way and for us that meant a great mix of other guests for mealtimes and great exchanges. I loved that I could swim when I wanted. The water was coldish but then I take a cold shower in the Alps every day. I know my colleague found it colder than I did. But once in, the water (cleaned through salivation) was terrific.”

  • Hotel La Cruz Review Score: 9

“Great location, just off the centre, by the sea, quiet and beautiful. My room was on the first floor with a spectacular view on the beach and the sea. There was plenty of space and light. Very comfortable bed. The lady at the reception was super nice and kind, special thanks to her!”
