  • De Notenboom Review score: 9

“Great location. Quiet. Lovely old barn.”

  • “I loved how much of a "hidden" gem feeling this place has. We needed a place to go stargazing and B&B Lauwersstate was one of the few ones that was nearby. It ended up being an amazing decision! The owner Ingrid personally welcomed us in the parking lot and told us about the area and gave us suggestions where to go. She had a lot of information about activities around the area. She really made us feel welcome and even helped us reserve a timeslot for an Alpaca farm the next day because our stargazing plans were changed due to bad weather. There's spacious parking in the front. The room was so pretty, clean and newly renovated. The bathroom and toilet was gorgeous. We could freely use the kitchen however we wanted to eat our own food we had brought with us. It was complete with a fridge, water cooker, coffee maker etc. -- even the room too. The BnB is very close to the dijk which would be excellent for stargazing if the weather permitted. If you're in the north I would definitely recommend staying here. 5/5 stars I couldn't recommend it more. I'm definitely going to come back!”

  • Pension Zee en Duinzicht Review score: 9

“Lovely little rooms. Friendly host. 24 hour parking for 6eur nearby.”

  • B&B TxL Review score: 9

“Lisa and Tjalle are very warm and hospitable. The place is clean and private. I’d read about the breaksfast in previous reviews and I have to say it lives up to its hype; delicious nutritious well put together. We enjoyed our stay.”

  • Tuinhuis Duinroos Deluxe Review score: 10

“My stay was very pleasant. Had all facilities although I only used the bed to sleep in due to staying near my daughter. I cannot do stairs due to illness so being all on one level was ideal. But everything was adequate and necessary if you do your own cooking. A very pleasant stay all around. Thanking you”

  • B&B Molenaar Review score: 10

    “Clean rooms, wonderful host”

  • Logement Nij Bonga Holwerd Review score: 10

“Really enjoyed the place. It was quiet otherwise we would heard the other rooms. The breakfast was amazing.”

  • Logement Garjen Review score: 8

    “Centrally located. Nice location.”

  • Wol en Wijn Texel Review score: 10

“Wol en Wijn is a small and cozy accommodation. The house is newly renovated and really comfortable. The position is really close to the center, while remaining really quiet and calm. The host is friendly and Texel is lovely, come visit if you can!”

  • Bed & Coffee Maricoweg Review score: 10

“Located on the northern edge of Den Burg, close to scenic farmlands, this place offers beautiful views just a two-minute walk away. The owner is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, providing tools to help us fix a broken bicycle. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, featuring large bathrooms stocked with all the essentials. Each room is well-equipped with comfortable beds, a table, a couch, a coffee machine, a kettle, a mini fridge, and more—everything you might need for a comfortable stay. To top it off, my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the extensive collection of photography books available in the room.”
