“Amazing apartment in the historic heart of Setúbal with most kind local hosts knowledgeable about the area.
The apartment has recently been renovated and is modernly and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is luxurious and has everything one might need – an oven, a cooktop, a microwave, an espresso machine and an electric kettle. There is even a washing machine in case one needs to do laundry, capsules included! The bathroom is pristine and spacious. The bedroom has plenty of storage space. Its windows let in a lot of sunlight and offer a leaning view of a charming traffic-free cobbled street. The patio affords shade and fresh air and a great place to spend an evening unwinding. The neighbourhood was quiet at night.
The hosts were incredible and wholehearted, always willing to help and answer any questions. They gave us insider tips about restaurants, beaches and modes of transport. Not once did we regret following their recommendations – we visited some of the best local eateries, avoided overpacked tourist traps and saved money and time. Go see the dolphins.
Thanks to the great location of the apartment, everything in the historic centre and the marina was in walking distance. Most notably: Praça do Bocage (3 minutes), the ferry to Tróia (10 minutes), the Mercado do Livramento, a bustling market offering fresh local goods (7 minutes) and many more.
Recommended for families with children and adults alike. You cannot go wrong with Pátio da Baixa.”

“The house is situated in a small quiet village that has a bar, restaurant, supermarket and cafe. It has amazing views across the sea to Lisbon. The house itself was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The owner Filipe went out of his way to make our stay perfect.”
