Good location close to the old town. The apartment was exactly as the pictures. The bed is super Comfy. Ines was very helpful on our arrival. You can hear the music in the distance on some evenings as others have mentioned but it did not spoil our stay in any way. We loved Setubal. You must walk along the central promenade to the fish market its wonderful. There is a supermarket there for groceries on the way Pingo Dolce. On the opposite side enter the old town with shops and restaurants. Walk up the hill to the Castle at the back of the old town for great views of the area. take the ferry across to the river to the other side for beautiful beaches and nature. Must try the cuttlefish its delicious..

A great location in a busy, authentic place with loads to do. Communication was flawless- an immediate response to questions day or night. We arrived a bit early and were allowed to leave our cases no problem.A spacious apartment, impeccably clean with great a/c. No problem with noise at all and I am a light sleeper.

During the nights you could not really sleep with open windows because of nightclubs close by.

It was a very nice apartment and the owner was very helpful. It was clean and bright and close to restaurant and markets. It had everything you need, but we did not cook in the apartment because there were no basics like salt and oil. All in all we can recommend this place without any doubts.

It was a bit noisy at night as it is close to some bars.

The flat is beautiful and very clean. It is very well equipped and new, decor is very pretty as one can see in the pictures. Host is super friendly and helpful!

The couch was hard and uncomfortable when trying to relax after a long day. The bed was too low for someone with back issues. The nightclub down the street was noisy until 3 a.m. every night. Without the performance of the windows it would have been impossible to sleep. You couldn’t leave the windows open at night.

it was modern and had a great location near the harbor, beaches, shops and restaurants. The windows provided sound-proofing from outside noises.

Stylish and comfortable, with delightful hosts! Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, and a short walk to the waterfront, beach, and the center of town. Also has a smart tv with HBO Max, Netflix, YouTube, etc.

Nothing to criticize.

The very spacious apartment is bright and sunny and is located just off the waterfront, walking distance from many excellent restaurants. The apartment is new, extremely clean and has all the amenities (smart tv, even a washer) making it extremely comfortable. The decor is warm and very cozy. The bed is so comfortable, room lighting, sheets, duvet. The bathroom has an excellent shower with great water pressure. We were so happy to return to a beautiful home away from home after a day of sightseeing in Setubal. Must mention how helpful the hosts are. They respond to questions, give great suggestions and recommendations for visiting Setubal. Thank you for an exceptional stay.

A few nights there was loud dance club music from a club down the street. Hosts reported them and are taking other measures. But it really wasn't a big deal, and don't let that stop you from booking this great place. Shower temperature fluctuates. Shower head is just the single narrow type only (no rain shower). We didn't mind at all, but 4 flights of stairs may not be ok for some people.

9 night stay. Overall wonderful! Highly recommend. Excellent, kind, thoughtful hosts. A+. Fast communication. e.g. We had a minor problem one day, and it was handled quickly and professionally by our hosts. Complimentary mini Muscatel and box of cookies is a nice touch. The apartment is modern, clean, well-designed, and very well-equipped. Washing machine, dishwasher, drying rack, ironing board & iron, hair dryer, extra duvets. Location is excellent. Walking distance to everything. 2 ac/heating units work extremely well. English TV channels and streaming services. . Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Sheets and towels were good quality.

We loved everything!

The recently refurbished apartment in a historic building was much bigger than we expected. We unexpectedly arrived early and the apartment was was ready and our host let us in. Our host was a fantastic advocate for Setubal and was very keen that we enjoyed our visit, which we did! The apartment was secure, and well-appointed for self catering, including some cooking ingredients and equipment. The location was excellent, being close to the older port, restaurants and fort. We loved the chic beach style decorating.

The only issue we had was that the on-demand water heater did not regulate well, so you might have a nice temperature, then all of a sudden scalding hot, or freezing cold. The temperature setting on that unit was 44Celsius, which could not possibly be accurate, as the water temperature was much higher than that (44 Celsius is 111 Fahrenheit). Hopefully this issue will be addressed for the next visitors.

Great location, beautiful, well-equipped apartment, amazingly quiet despite the bar next door with a rowdy crowd until 6:00AM!

The apartment was absolutely amazing. It was brand new, modern, clean and had everything we needed. The apartment was perfectly located. Walking distance to many restaurants, markets, cafes, bakeries and shops. 5 minute walk to old historic Setubal with the cobblestone narrow streets offering a huge variety of shops and cafes. 1 minute to the waterfront. Parking at the doorstep. And the best host's ever. Both Ines and Paulo were always avaible to answer any questions we had and we so accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay in the same apartment. We give the apartment and the host's a 5 star + rating. Will be recommending this place to everyone we know. Thank you Ines and Paulo. Xo
