“It was our best stay in Japan. The location is perfect - we saw Mt Fuji from our room, with the lake also visible. The property is conveniently next to the bus stop, with the lake just across the road. Absolutely pretty views, plus the room was clean and suitably provided for.
The hosts were kind and warm, and went the extra mile - quite literally since he dropped us to FujiQ bus stop, slightly ahead of the shuttle drop point of Kawaguchiko Station.
We had a splendid quiet time here.”
“My room is on the 43 floor so i get very good view of the city. This hotel is huge and the room i got is spacious. Very near to the main station with lots of shoppings and eateries. There is a short cut to get from the hotel to the shopping areas.”
“Breakfast was traditional style and delicious and my family loved trying new foods. The beds were really comfy and the place had an old traditional vibe to it - it was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan for sure. So many gorgeous back streets to explore right near the accom also. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Chef was wonderful and the dinner on our 2nd night was a high light. We tried so many new foods :)”
“This hotel is aged but function well. It's the only hotel to stay in Murodo if you want to stay overnight for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. The hotel will organise activities for hotel guest like star glazing, walking trail, it's in Japanese language. Hotel guests get exclusive walk to the snow wall in the late afternoon after it is closed to public. As it is the only hotel, the price we paid included dinner and breakfast, both which is beyond satisfactory. Some of the front office staff can speak English, so it really depends on whether they are on duty when you need them.”
“Room is huge, more like an apartment with living room and kitchen. View is good as it faces the ocean. This hotel is definitely for those who drive as it is very far from the main road. If you do not want to eat in the hotel, then got to drive out to the town for meals.”
“There's onsen in this hotel and they provide free ramen for supper. Room is small. There is a shopping street next to the hotel but we arrived on a Sunday evening and most of the shops and eateries were closed, leaving us with limited choice for dinner. The nearer location with eateries are about 1km away and we did not want to walk that far out so just settled with what we could find.”
“All staff were very nice and assisted where needed.
The room was the most spacious out of all rooms we booked during this trip
Essy access to all main points.”
