“The location was like a set in a movie with lush green lawns and gardens, horses grazing in the background and a beautiful, old manor house. The room was so comfortable and welcoming and the bathroom was modern yet elegant. Breakfast, served by our hosts, was delicious with local honey and jams and a secret ingredient in the yogurt. It was so quiet and peaceful yet close to so many villages and towns in the Cardigan area. So much better than staying in a hotel and we wished we were staying longer.”

“It feels like a lot of thought and care has been put into the room and facilities. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. A good breakfast tray is provided - porridge pot, juice, fruit pot and fruit muffin. One of the best hotels of this size I've ever stayed at.”

“Good communication and comfortable tidy room”

  • The Red Lion Review Score: 8

“Whilst hotel was somewhat 'rustic', it was exactly as I was expecting for a country pub. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and room was perfectly adequate for my needs. I asked for dinner recommendations and was very pleased with the suggested Italian restaurant on the High Street as it was excellent. Accommodation may not suit everybody, but it was perfect for me and I would stay again now that I am aware of exactly what you receive and what you don't.”

“Absolutely Super Service. GREAT Room . Absolutely Fantastic”

  • The Glengower Review Score: 9

“The hotel itself is very charming and the location is great. The room and bath were very clean, spacious and very comfortable. The view from the bay window with two chairs and a table was so nice. The window opened to let in the fresh sea air. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was great with a wide variety to choose from. Dinner was also very good, again made more enjoyable by the friendly staff. The pub and outdoor seating was excellent for sunset watching. I would definitely stay here again.”

  • The Old Vicarage Review Score: 10

“Yes the property is remote but it’s an incredible getaway from the world with easy access. It’s an absolutely stunning property which is beautifully decorated. We loved the gardens so did our pup. We will 100% return!”
