  “The owner was very friendly and gave us a little instruction for everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there are two bathrooms. The kitchen is big and has everything you need. The way to the beach side is a 5-10min walk. We felt us more than welcome. If we come again with a little group we'll book this place again. We can highly recommend this accommodation.”

  “The property is stunning with beautiful decor and original features. The one bedroom apartment is spacious and light and really well equipped. The location is perfect, right in the historic centre above a lovely square with bars and restaurants. Communication by messaging was good from the owners, we did not see any staff.”

  “Joao and his family were great hosts. It was a stunning property will a lot of history , huge gardens to roam around in and a lovely swimming pool (which we didn’t have time to use). It took us about 50 minutes to get to Lisbon( though we knew it wasn’t close when we booked) as the route travels very close to the airport and there was a lot of traffic. However Joao suggested a car park just out of Lisbon with metro attached and it was easy going from there. A large supermarket nearby is very convenient.”

  “Lovely private courtyard which had good facilities for eating / sitting outdoors. Gated, private on drive parking. Lemon and orange trees meant fresh juice on tap! Great location for getting onto the major road system to go north or south. Coast only 15 mins away by car with some nice seafood restaurants.”
