The house is 20 minutes walk from city center and just a few minutes from the tram station. The street is small with few parking spots but we always found a place to park.”
“The surrounding grounds are like a private park with ponds and streams to the site of the large water mill that gives the property its name. The buildings have a rustic character with ancient exposed beams and interesting windows. The upper level has a modern timber staircase with integral storage and a sturdy handrail. The upper wooden flooring has been modernised to a clean, comfortable standard.”
“Though my circumstances were exceptional -- I am a French-speaking woman from England and I arrived to Orléans to another property and found out on the spot that it was closed and I hadn't been informed -- the hosts of this property helped me out immediately. I booked within about 5 minutes of needing to walk through the door and the customer service team helped me out with the code for the key-box very quickly. I was extremely distressed and they were fantastic at ensuring I was settled. The apartment itself is very clean, has a good TV, nice-sized bathroom and basic amenities like pots/pans/plates/glasses etc. I didn't use much as I hadn't planned on staying somewhere with a kitchen but the fridge was very useful. The location is also fantastic -- really only a minute away from the cathedral and very central. Merci !!”
