“Great secluded location backing onto Ham Luong river. Very friendly owners and staff, the rooms which are located within a nicely kept properly, are all very well presented individual cabins, ours smelt fantastic. There was adequate water pressure, the supplied breakfast was nice, we only ate lunch there once but the Vietnamese noodle rolls were brilliant. The owner was very helpful giving us google map coordinates for various things to see.”

“The host Jang is incredibly accommodating! When we checked in we were presented with tea and exotic fruits. The bikes he provided let us explore My Tho easily. Breakfast and lunch were both delicious (remember to ask in advance for veggie options). Room was ideal with a lovely view. Jang helped us book our bus tickets on our way back to HCMC. The whole time he was smoking- such a lovely bloke! Thank you Jang and family for hosting!”

Be sure to spend at least 2 nights and arrange with ,the zigzagers‘ an authentic tour in the Ben Tre region with Sailboat, Scooter and visit local trades in an untouristy way. Gorgeous dinner & bbq at the river… for sure our highlight during the whole Vietnam holidays.”
“Gorgeous homestay with coconut palms all around. Rooms have no AC , but the rooms have fans and honestly was no problem. The cooks at this homestay are very talented. They made vegetarian meals for me and they were the best I had in Vietnam. We chose this homestay to use their kayaks, river was absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 amazing place!
Consider taking the Mekong zigzag motorcycle tour through Ben Tre. They picked us up from the homestay. You see so much and it was one of the best tours we did in Vietnam. I don’t think we saw another tourist on this tour.”
