“Charming hotel in a quiet and restful elevated position directly above the centre of the town and yet extremely close to everything. Beautiful courtyard and an onsite restaurant with very good food. There is a lift from reception that takes you directly down to the main streets. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed in room 215 which was spacious and quiet. The location is excellent - literally opposite the SBB train station and there are many tram stops just outside the hotel. The buffet breakfast served hot and cold and was very varied. It’s a short walk to the old town of Basel. We did not have a car, nor did we need one as the hotel is very central.”
“Solid hotel with pleasantly easy check-in and check-out. Clean room with acceptable space for one person. Good breakfast. Plenty of car park spaces available.”
