“Location was great, close to everything. I stayed in one of the cylinder rooms because it was such a unique accommodation, and I'm so glad I did! It was private and in the middle of a beautiful garden area. The air conditioning was ideal. I scheduled an all day tour with the staff that was amazing! The resort was pretty empty during my visit, the quiet was nice. Everything was fairly clean for a hostel.”
“Everything! The location was close to town but felt like it was in the middle of the jungle. The staff were lovely. I loved the view over Arenal Volcano from the restaurant. It seemed to be quite clear, very early in the morning at breakfast.The sloth tour with Armando was amazing. I also did 2 night walks to spot frogs with him, and they were great. He has a real passion for wildlife.”
“Best hotel we stayed at during our trip. Breathtaking views of the volcano from the bed and from the shower (see photo)! It’s right in the jungle and next to the entrance of Mistico Park with the hanging bridges. It has a lush garden and in general the whole place is beautiful. Pure luxury. For breakfast, you have two choices: a small restaurant 50m away or Blue Hibiscus restaurant, (2min by car, but they offer a shuttle). Choose Blue Hibiscus. We tried both, it is incomparably better.”
“If you stay here, you stay in the jungle. You hear animals all around, also at night. Wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, it has lush gardens and a lovely staff. Very good breakfast. Go for the “tents” which are cabins that stand on columns with tarp instead of walls. Your terrace is up in the canopy of the trees and it has a hammock! Amazing! Good insect net above the beds. It rained at night but it didn’t bother us at all. Bathroom is also amazing, you see the jungle while showering!”
“Definitely the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. It was so great waking up in the tents with a fantastiv view on the vulkano. The tents were very comfortable and awesome. In the morning we even saw some tucans. The best part of our stay were Wendy and Roger. The wete so welcoming, heartwarming, helpful, and fun and it was always nice to have a little chat with them”
“The hotel was in a great location to find places to eat and walk around the shops. It was a 2 minute walk from the bus station too. The room was very clean and the balcony was a nice place to sit even when it was raining as it is covered. The staff were very helpful with booking tours & general advice and recommendations for the area. The breakfast was brilliant with lots of options for food.”
“Overall this is a great place to stay. There are five cabins so it is perfect for a family/group gathering as you can book all of the cabins. My family of six booked two cabins side by side. I was welcomed and my overall experience was very positive. I loved sitting on the porch in the morning and bird-watching. It is a peaceful environment.”
