We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IrelandHotel didn't fill our expectations for 4* hotel. Room was very poor, beds were basically wooden boards with rock hard mattress, child size pillow and very dated blanket. Furniture itself was very dated, no tea service on the desk, no iron ( pay service, which is very inconvenient) In general i would give 2* rating for room facilities and breakfast, all i had to eat was same croissant with cheese every morning as i do not eat any ham or pork, scrambled egg on daily basis was mixed with ham. There was no cucumber or tomato, no olives, fruit option was only banana or apple. Very poor. Also very noisy, can hear every smallest sound from neighbours and hallway, doors banging, bathroom sounds, etc.
Location is very good, easy short walk to centre, bus stop, market.

United KingdomToo many noisy young people booked in at discounted rates, Small, dark rooms with limited power points, tired fixtures and small cramped lift. No office staff at weekend, only one receptionist at night for 65 rooms (what if a fire, etc.). Shower curtain wraps round you like a cold shroud.

SwedenThe room was a bit tiny - still absolutely okay. Often in hotels they offer the possiblity to get some tea or coffee in the room, which they didn't here. There was a refrigerator though.
The location is great! The swimming pool on the roof was also quite nice. The room itself was okay, but a bit tiny.

The hotel in located in very good location, close to all the main attractions in the city Funchal, next to a supermarket and close to a restaurant and shops area. All Staff were very nice, helpful and professional, at the reception Antonio gave me very good advices about best places in Madeira to visit! Pool at the rooftop is nice and have great views. Breakfast had some juice, coffe, bread, eggs, cereals, fruits and others.. (small but nice). I recommend this hotel if you are interested in staying in the heart of Funchal and take public transport.
