We expected more from breakfast. The food was good but it lacked variety. The staff, while nice, urgently needs barista training. We got some oat cappuccinos that were undrinkable. The walls of our villa could do with some fresh paint. It would have also been nice to have a small table on the sunny side of the villa.

The villas are nice and well-clean. As vegetarians, we very much value having a kitchen, and it was very well-equipped. The hotel was calm, green, and close to beautiful beaches (10-minute walk). Free access to e-bikes, tennis, and padel courts is nice.

Great location that you are 10 ~ 20 mins drive away from more populated towns where you have a lot of restaurant options as well as organized boat trip. The property itself is beautiful with a lot of lounging area around the property. Garden nicely arranged as well as inner decor. I particularly find some of their decoration very interesting, like the local handmade vase and pendant light (i forgot the brand, if staff sees this message could you let me know?)

Some of the staff weren't as helpful as others. There was a misunderstanding about when I had booked a spa treatment and the situation was dealt with badly - I ended up not having a treatment - those members of staff need customer service training. They eventually agreed they were in the wrong and provided a discount to our whole tab bill.

The villas are designed beautifully. They've thought of everything and the baskets with wheels that you could throw your beach stuff in to walk down to the beach was a lovely touch. Loved how there were 4 different locations to sit outside our villa! 4!

Good location, easy 5 minutes walk to the beaches, excellent restaurants nearby. The staff at White Shell are very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was always good and fresh and not crowded. Lunch was equally great. Evening cocktails on the rooftop terrace were very nice.

We like everything about this resort. it is modern and all equipment are up to date. Beaches are only 10 min walk away, 10 min drive from Beganil Caves, super friendly staff, tasty breakfast with a reasonable cost, roomy with a lot of space for two of us. will visit them next time in this area.

There is nothing to dislike about this property.

The villas are absolutely gorgeous with everything you want or need. The indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. The electric bikes that were available free of charge was a very pleasant bonus.

The only discomfort was breakfast. We haven't made preorder at the evening and we were waiting for a really long time our breakfast. So pay attention to that fact and make preorder of breakfast and enjoy.

Me and my family we had fantastic time in White shall beach villas. Room, territory, atmosphere, dinner, staff, everything was fantastic. My children enjoyed swimming in warm and cozy swimming pool.

The 3 bedroom villa was very nice and plenty of room for our family of 6. Breakfast is very basic but we had dinner the first night and it was very nice. The location is good.

The quality of the facilities is great, but probably could do with a few more considering the price. A games room would be a big plus. Biggest gripe: the pool bar shuts early, so not much to do in the evening, or a focal point for people to meet and the kids to play. (And - a note to the management - please, update the TVs so guests can log into Netflix, Disney etc.!)

We had a great holiday: we loved the modern apartments, heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. Free bikes and racquet sports were a nice touch. The place felt welcoming for kids (ours, 8 and 10). There was no shushing and few shut off areas. There were plenty of things to do locally (we loved Slide & Splash). We didn't hire a car, and used Uber, which I'd recommend and do again.

Fantastic Villas, beautiful grounds, we enjoyed the pool area, especially the serenity at this place, well equipped apartments/villa, fantastic amenities, e-bikes etc… Friendly Staff, great breakfast, everything is close by, beach, restaurants, supermarket… One of the most relaxing places in the Algarve.

Gym was not a gym - enough for 2 people running machine and bike- tiny space could not have mat and weights down at same time. Also small children in it. A big disappointment sadly.

The room's luxury feel, the breakfast, the outside pool. There's a beach near but needs bit walking and there's a steep hill but it's easily accessible with the car. Nice calm area.
