The cleanliness of both the apartment bit also poolside ans reception area. Really comfortable sun loungers, really relaxed feel and environment. All the staff so friendly and pleasant from the maids to poolside bar staff. Great food , fairly priced drinks. Good gym facilities . Brilliant location few minutes walk ti the beach or into town for food. Went above and beyond to get our room early really early so we could check straight in!

Very spacious,clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and the bed was good too. The balcony was large and well maintained . The bathrooms were very clean and well presented.

I can't actually fault the accommodation, but if you have an aversion to hills or steps, Vila Castelo Parque and Ferragudo itself probably isn't the place for you.

There's much to commend this property, even before you enter the front door - the location is perfect, both for the main beach in Ferragudo, Praia Grande and for this picturesque town itself. The pre-stay communication was thorough and full of information and when I met the reception staff, they were absolutely excellent, very helpful and with faultless English. When the occasional housekeeping issue arose, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I also had a garage space with this property, which was a bonus. The apartment is huge, with a very large lounge/dining area, well-equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and by means of an impressive spiral staircase, and additional bedroom, bathroom and utility room. An absolute pleasure to stay here.

A few more basic provisions in the kitchen like olive oil, salt and pepper would have been useful, but only a very minor inconvenience.

Everything was well organised and the communication before we arrived was excellent. The apartment furnishings were very comfy and it was a short walk to the town centre.

The washing machine. The day before leaving we went out at 10am came back at 6pm and the washing machine just wouldn’t stop. It washed over and over. We couldn’t get the door open. We left the next day with a load of wet washing! New clothes came out looking old as they were continually washing & spinning over and over.

We had an issue with the shower which did not deliver cold water. The balcony doors would not lock properly. The bath towels were very small.

The apartment was clean, spacious, the kitchen well stocked, the beds comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of four. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. The staff was extremely helpful, the pool was pleasant and the location very convenient, walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Vila Castelo Parque is in a great location between Praia Grande beach and the square in Ferragudo, which is the prettiest village in the Algarve. All the staff were so helpful.

Limited menu at the poolside bar. The toasties were too big!! Too filling.

I loved the comms before arrival. Flight into Faro airport landed at 10pm so needed an after hours access. Comms explained key pad and key safe and location of apartment. Very useful after a long day of travel ending with a 50 minute drive on unfamiliar roads in the dark. Welcome pack meant a nice cup of tea was available. In the morning our breath was taken away by the views from the balcony, the light, the space, the comfort. Our apartment was two self contained flats. Both with double beds and bathrooms. Our kids didn’t want to share so our 12 year old son let his 15 year old sister have the bedroom and he was given a spare bed in the living room. Although he ended up using the much more comfortable sofa for two weeks. Spotless and the staff were so very helpful. Pool was never too crowded with always room to find a sun lounger. Location was within 10 minutes slow walk to restaurants and bars of Ferragudo and 5 minutes walk to Praia Grande with it’s beach and cafe/restaurants. A little slice of heaven for two weeks. Would love to return.

nothing to do with the property itself but worth mentioning the hills/steps to get into the main town area, we had a double buggy which we gave up using as it was too much to push it back up the hills!! the streets are gorgeous but just a little heads up if taking a buggy

The apartment was huge! Gorgeous big balcony also. the pool was spotless and the staff very friendly.

Beds in main room were not as comfortable as expected.esp since rest if apartment was 5 star. Was not aware that the apartments was 3 floors up with no lift. It was OK for us, but if I had a tiddler and pram, or elderly parent it woyld have been a serious problem about which we were not warned

Apartment on top floor gave us a beautiful view of sunsets and a bit of Harbour. Jacuzzi was a wonderful bonus. Used it more than once daily. Problem with aircon was sorted out by owner very quickly. Kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery very good quality
