The chairs on the beach weren’t confortable

Everything! The nature, the beach ( except the chairs), the massage, the breakfast, the townhouses, all was great!

We stayed at Verdelago for a week and unfortunately the experience at breakfast wasn’t always the best. The orange juice machine has a big capacity and old juice was probably mixed with new juice, which made the entire thing acid - undrinkable. I was served a cappuccino with soiled milk! This situation happened twice: pancakes were already made and cold, so I asked for some new ones and they were heated in the microwave. One of the times I specifically said I didn’t want microwave heated pancakes and the cook said new ones would take a long time, which I did not mind, and they never arrived at my table. One of the bathrooms at our villa had a water infiltration, so we were asked not use it which was ok because there were 2 other bathrooms, but we were informed that the final price would have a discount and at check out nobody mentioned anything. It would have been nice not having to be us remembering this.

The town house was stunning and had everything we needed to cook and relax, I especially liked being able to control the temperature in different rooms. The beds were very comfy! The whole resort is tastefully decorated, the pool area was clean, relaxing and had lots of sunbeds, and the boardwalks down the beach were lovely for a stroll. Breakfast was great with lots of options, especially for healthier choices and vegetarian food. A special mention is needed for the service, it was honestly the best service we have received in a hotel. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive, and it was my husbands birthday when we were out there and the staff made him feel special and even brought a little treat to our room in the evening.

Quality was true 5 star. Staff and service excellent, friendly and relaxed ambiance. A style unusual in Algarve. The location is particularly good. I combined with a city break in Sevilla which is about 1.5 hours away - so very easy. Having direct access to superb beach through the pine trees is great.

The resort was great for our short (one night) stay in the area. Our accommodations was a tastefully designed, modern, spacious 3-bedroom townhouse that was an excellent value (free upgrade). The staff was very friendly and always ready to go the extra mile. With nice boardwalks and cicadas accompanying our patio dinner, it was an enjoyable and relaxing break.

The restaurant is a bit slow which is normal for a new place.

The resort is superb, facilities are fantastic and staff is very friendly. There ate activities for adults and children. The place very quiet which is great if you want to relax, we loved it because there aren’t many spots where you can truly relax in Algarve.

A little gem in Eastern Algarve. There are currently 50 apartments/houses which are complete and the plan is for around 300 plus a hotel by 2025. All very new and to a very high standard. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was extremely comfortable, clean and had lovely decor. The restaurant, pools and sports complex are ready for when the project is finished. So plenty of seating, pool beds and space. The beach is only a 5/10 minute walk along the boardwalks but there are free bikes to use if you want to. From what we saw the sports complex consists of a football pitch, plus tennis and paddle courts. There is also a children's club and 2 pools. One I think is adult only. They offer activities on the beach including Kayaking, Hobie cats, sailing and paddle boarding. We went at the end of the summer season so quieter than usual. The staff were extremely helpful at all times and very professional. A special thank you to Lucy and also the whole team for making our experience at Verdelago and also our 25th Wedding Anniversary so memorable.

This resort is exceptionally well located, easily accessible to a wonderful beach. Everything you could possibly want is provided: great accommodations, excellent service and attention to detail, and a superb restaurant. Very family friendly, which is wonderful.

Nothing we didn’t like, only that as hotel has just opened there are details to still improve but staff was extremely open to feedback, how can they improve and what is missing every single day.

One of the the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. Rooms/apartments are spacious, modern and clean. Restaurant dishes were all amazing (time for every meal was long but food was outstanding), bar drinks were really good. Staff and attention was the best we’ve got in a long time, super dedicated in every single way to make your stay better. We traveled with our baby who got pampered in every occasion, from a Tent on our room to chairs and attention in every spot we went. Kids playground is like Disney for them. We are more of beach people and the service on the beach was great, even being able to enjoy the food truck on our last day instead of having to go back to the hotel for lunch. Property is still under a lot of construction but very very beautiful. If you want to have a over the top escape in Algarve this might be the right place to do so.
