The room and the bathroom were tight, but comfortable enough.

Very nice building, old outside and new inside! The room was clean and had everything necessary, the bad was very comfortable, the breakfast, served on the ground floor by a very gentle lady, was aboundant and with all options. We really recommend the structure, and thank the kindest receptionist you can find!!

The property was located in a charming area to the south of the city centre. We stayed in a top floor room which came with a balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the tiled rooftops. The breakfast was delicious and compised a range of breads and pastries with jams, cheese and ham and yoghurt. The staff were very welcoming both on check-in and in the breakfast room the next morning. We will definately be staying again!

It is a perfect choice. Modern comfort inside, UNESCO charm outside, in the centre, but at a silent square. Do not miss the water tanks used by the leather industry just behind the block and the Tasquinha Tio Julio just next door. You can feel yourself in a very local place in a touristic town.

The lack of mugs for coffee and tea. Also they could add sleepers and robes. That’s not a downer but a suggestion to import. They were excellent.

5 minutes walk from the historical district. Parking is very cheap in the parking house. ( summary 1 euro from 6-8 p.m. to 8-9 a.m.) Cleaning service every day. Big bottle water in the room every day. Clean room.

We got the room on the highest floor and we had to take the luggage 50 steps up alone. No staff to help and no elevator.

The automatic light in the hallway was broken, so it was a dark stairway. Limited tea selection (only chamomile) and no milk/creamer. Toiletries consisted of hand soap and shampoo (no conditioner or lotion). I could not find the Wi-Fi or password.

Great location. I was in a corner location and loved the wrap around windows facing the plaza. They also had shutters to shut out the morning light. Nice shower water pressure, too.

The church bell rang at 7 am and then every 15 minutes, no chance to stay asleep. But oh well, it's not in the host's power to control that!

The apartment met our expectations. It's right on the Largo de Toural, so the location is perfect. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that you have to walk about 5 minutes from reception to the apartment.

Some details here and there that are not worth pointing out.

The AC worked super well. We had days where there were almost 40° outside, so the feeling of knowing we were meters away from our "fortress of solitude" was amazing. The beds are super comfortable. Never had problems with the internet. Room service was great.

The bathroom could do with a refresh, we were in room 12. There is very little space to put anything. The sink surround is worn. They could have more hooks to hang towels and a cup to put toothbrushes.

The accommodation was very comfortable, in a central location and there was an excellent breakfast.

Bad sound insulation, we could hear everything from the street and hallway. Double room has a tiny shower. Not that near to the paid car parking. There were many other hotels available at the same price, I would likely favor one of those in the future.

If you don’t have a car the location is really nice. Staff was friendly and managed to give us a second key on request.

It was very noisy at night. The square where the place is located is probably a meeting place for young Portuguese people.

A pleasant place in the centre of Guimarães with a very good breakfast. Great value for money.

The room was comfortable and in a good location. The host went out of her way to help me through a medical situation after I had fallen on one of the cobblestone paths on the way to the train station. I really appreciated her coming to my rescue.

We got the room on the ground floor, it had a very nasty sewage smell mixed with humidity the whole time. Like the room hasn't been breathing for a while, a dehumidifier could help to deal with this. Although the place was clean, it wouldn't have been my choice if I'd known these details in advance.

The location is amazing, close to downtown and all the main places to visit in Guimaraes. It was our first time in the city and in this hostel. We booked last minute so it was a great deal. The bed was very comfortable.
