I didn’t like the joined shower & toilet room situation - there wasn’t much privacy through that. Curtains could not be closed fully.

Loved the kitchen, terrace, living room, that you can borrow a yoga mat and of course the staff. Really good energy :)

Our room (family room) was noisy during the night, because it is in front of the mens lavatory, wooden floor and heavy people made a lot of noise every time someone went to the toilet!

A very typical house, with small rooms, terrace, colorful and cosy atmosphere. Staff was friendly, professional and efficient. Very good location, close to the train station and the old town.

Arguably 1 of the best hostels in Algarve, and if it's the best in the region then it will have to be the best in Portugal, and Portugal is a worldwide tourist destination leader... Concluding... So @Jonathan you and your team really know what you are doing here at @sunlover's hostel in #albufeira that makes people prefer to stay in your hostel instead of a hotel or apartment. Keep up the good work. There're no strangers just a bunch of people you haven't met yet.

The only small thing I didn’t like was that our windows looked out on the terrace so if we kept the shutters open people could see in but overall we enjoyed our stay a lot

This is a really nice hostel. Very easy check in and friendly staff. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The terrace was a great place to have a drink and chat to other guests and there are things going on in the hostel most days/nights. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

The air con on the wall seemed to be broken so there was a portable unit in the room. It was noisy and it would have stopped me sleeping but with ear plugs it was fine.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Even though I was in a 12 dorm room, I slept well without being woken in the night. The curtain round the bed gives privacy, and the bed was really spacious. Perfect location for the bus from the airport, the train station, and to explore generally. Clean bathroom and toilets. Really great!

Everything you want and more when staying in a hostel. Staffed 24/7. A fantastic vibrant atmosphere on the roof terrace with the accompaniment of guitar music and a little bar. Was a real shame I couldn’t join them for the pub crawl which they were hosting as I was up very early the next morning.

Sadly the common areas closed at 11, which is understandable, but on vacation people tend to want to stay up way longer than that and i wish i could have talked to my friends for longer without having to leave the hostel. I had the third bunk bed which is not recommended for the faint of heart cause i had to climb up a pretty steep flight of stairs everytime i wanted to get into bed (it got annoying towards the end). The lack of common areas made it feel more like an hotel than a hostel.

The place was extremely clean and the staff was present 24/7, people were nice and there were good activities that i'd recommend such as the pub crawl. Had a terrace with a bar, good to socialize and they made amazing sangria. The location is right near a laundromat, a store, the train station and the center of the city.

I loved everything. And this is nothing related to the hostel itself but the experience I had (2 people arriving drunk at 3 am waking up every one) and a person snoring all night since then until 9am when I left. But this is a "normal" thing we find in shared rooms. Nothing to do with this hostel.
