A fantastic hotel in the best location in Sesimbra. The staff at the desk were incredibly helpful, especially Nuno for helped with booking trips and giving great advice. The rooms are great, all with sea views and the beds are the most comfortable I've stayed in. Breakfast was fantastic and as the hotel is right on the beach, I highly recommend a morning walk on it. 5 Stars for me all day long!!! 😎👌😁

In order to reach the room I had to switch elevators. One elevator to the main floor, walk through a connection and take a second elevator. Not a terrible problem but uncomfortable when tired.

The hotel is in excellent location, beautiful view, and easy access. There is parking at the property. Healthy and fresh options for breakfast. The restaurant is good and the service excellent. SPA well placed and well equipped.

The beds weren't a queen size. It was 2 beds put together even though we booked as a couple . The constant sound of the waterfall from the pool overwhelmed the sound from the ocean. The breakfast, even though it was great, lacked variations of offered options. No lactose free cheese or yogurt.

The location was optimal. The room was very spacious, and the view was great. The staff was exceptionally good.

Some areas of the hotel are already in need of repairs. It’s a bit unfortunate because the hotel is otherwise fantastic, and this takes away a bit of its charm. For example, some walls have water damage, and in the pool, a few small tiles are missing from the bottom.

The only thing that was an issue is with the shower draining very slowly that caused water to leak onto the floor.

It’s a great location and it is a well maintained property with comfortable beds.

I had a really wonderful stay at the Sesimbra Oceanfront Hotel. Very charming hotel with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Staff were very friendly. Huge shout out to Catalina at The Bar who was extremely friendly and gave excellent customer service (and made tasty drinks!). Breakfast buffet was awesome!

Only downside was that in the pool apparently more and more of the tiles are falling off (the pool did not look dated so I assume that this was bad craftmanship of whoever did the pool and not the fault of the hotel). I understand that with a single pool this cannot be fixed within the high season, since it would mean locking down the pool for weeks.

The hotel is well maintained and must have been recently maintained. This applies to the common areas as well as our rooms, which looked fairly new. Breakfast was good (fresh squeezed orange juice and other juices, variety of bread and pastry, freshly cooked omlettes / eggs / pancakes, fresh fruit .... only the choice of cut meats and cereals could have been bigger). Location is perfect and in proximity of the sandy beach, bars, restaurants and small stores. Hotel staff was wonderful.

Everything was great except the breakfast which is not at all up to the standard of the hotel... Quantity, quality and diversity not great... Too bad because the hotel is magnificent.

Breakfast was bad, like really bad! We stayed at cheaper hotels in Portugal before coming to Sesimbra and they all had better breakfast. The food was clearly old, many things had weird smells on both days. Croissant was hard, turkey smelled, cheese tasted bad, waffles same.. it was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel to be honest. The staff although friendly, can be rude sometimes.

Location is unmatched in Sesimbra. Close to everything, most importantly the beach. The pool is nice as well. All the rooms are spacious, have a balcony and a good ocean view. The hotel also has all the facilities you might need.
