The location can be hard to reach if you're coming from São Bento train station since there's a lot of incline walking. The check-in and check-out process can be a bit confusing. Also, the room needs a nightstand lamp.

House and room were renovated and clean. Bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The view from our room was okay, nothing special.

The building is old. There is a need to do some repair work, for example, the room in the bathroom or the doors to the balcony are very difficult to close, they have already sagged.

Old building, rooms are equipped with the bare minimum for a comfortable overnight stay. Very friendly staff, showed and explained everything. Quite quiet and calm.

We would’ve liked a few more kitchen facilities but all in all not a big deal. There’s a few things in the common space like a kettle, cutlery and dish-ware for guests to use which is good. A bit more toilet paper would’ve been helpful too.

Location was great, close to everything in the centre of the city. Accommodation had all our basic needs at a fair price. Overall pretty happy with our stay and would stay here again.

There is no information on booking about the check in and they didn't answer our message. In the end, everything worked out ok though ! The pillows were not the most comfortable.

If you want to have your room cleaned during your stay, you need to leave the key at the reception before 12:00 - it was very uncomfortable for us, especially that the reception is in another building. Additionally, rooms on the last floor have access to only one wifi, which is not working very often. Room was not very clean when we came - I saw some red hair in the bathroom.

The location is the best. This place is the best if you want to spend whole day outside, and come back only to sleep.

Location becomes not so comfortable at night. One night we heard someone screaming and hitting shop shutters on the street... Additionally there was a construction site in the next building which was causing quite some noise early in the morning (this should be cleared once the construction works are done). The street is pretty busy with traffic early in the morning. We had to sleep with the window open due to lack of air conditioning, which let traffic noise in unfiltered. By the way, one night we tried keeping the window closed, and traffic noise was still clearly audible from inside the room. Last, the reception is in another building (a few meters before in the same street) which is not the most practical e.g. if you need toilet paper or hairdryer (PS please change the toilet paper! The one we had was super thin and one roll couldn't really last long!). Note: there's no elevator in the residence building nor in the other building where the reception is located.

Location is close to the center which is practical. There's also a square nearby (3 mins walk) with bars and restaurants. Room was large, and the shower was ok.

Our room was up three flights of narrow, stairs.

Check-in was at an almost identical location two doors up the road, which went really smoothly with a friendly and very helpful member of staff. We booked this room because it was affordable and looked to be in a good location, which it was.

There was no internet. I spoke to them and they said they would reboot the router... but the message was always no internet connection for one of the wireless connections and the other didn't reach the third floor. Steep steps, not suitable for heavy luggage or any range of motion limitation. My room simply hadn't been hoovered.

The location is great. Staff is really friendly. Good value for money.
