Room was lacking a few basic amenities, like a kettle, iron, smart TV (netflix/youtube/etc), conditioner Breakfast starts only at 7:30 which is pretty limiting if you're going on early hikes - though they offer to pack breakfast for you the night before I found the pillows a bit uncomfortable

The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly and accommodating, definitely the highlight of our stay there Our room was impeccably clean and had a stunning view. The hotel restaurant is great, and amazing breakfast Interior design felt fresh and tasteful Free parking

There are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms which as a Brit were sorely missed! The hotel is situated in Monte which is further up the hill from Funchal. We are both active hikers so the 30 minute walk/climb up and down the hill to the centre of Funchal wasn’t much of a bother to us but could be for less able bodied people. When we couldn’t be bothered with the climb a taxi was only €10 !

The view over Funchal is absolutely stunning. You can see the entire city. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a lovely spread offering cooked options and fresh fruit. Pool was lovely , the spar was small but clean and never overcrowded.

For some reason my curtain would randomly fall down on a couple of occasions, no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms pillows felt cheap and uncomfortable, not a 5 star hotel really a 4 star at best

The ventilation in the toilet wasn't working.

This hotel was perfect beautiful view on Funchal, huge clean rooms with really nice design and everythink what you need and more for perfect holiday. And also this famous Monte Sledges are going on the street next to hotel then you have nice and autentic experience you can watching them sliding down the hill is really funny :-D

Everything was perfect.

This hotel is amazing. Everything was perfect. We had a very short stay but will come back for sure. Greetins to our amazing receptionist Tanya who sent us champagne in the room after we told her this is our last night at Madeira and that we got married there. It was so sweet and so pure of her! Staff is amazing, room was beautiful and all of the facilities are right on point. See you again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Quinta Mirabela. The location is very good, so peaceful and quiet, and the view from the terrace is amazing. The hotel was spotless. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food. Most of all, a huge thank you to the staff who were always so friendly and helpful, they made our stay exceptional.

The location is a bit inconvenient, as it is situated pretty far up the mountain from the main town and sidewalks are basically non-existent in Funchal. We had to take a lot of taxis to dinner.

The terrace has an amazing view and the breakfast is wonderful.

The staff here could not be nicer or friendlier - so lovely! Great location and you can watch the sledges going past down the hill! Parking is easy to get to and the pool facilities were amazing.
