The noise from the hall way / other rooms, the rooms are not soundproof. Although there is good public transport the area itself doesn’t have a lot going on so I recommend travelling to the centre on the bus.

Very well priced room, the breakfast had a variety of foods (provided you got their early enough), the staff were very helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable and very good access to the centre of Porto (around 25 minute bus journey).

it's not a place to sleep I took a private room for 3 nights every night there was a lot of noise in the hallway music the doors slammed shut. I paid to sleep not to stay awake

Even though we cannot control the weather, it was super windy and obviously we cannot blame the hostel but there was something with the windows structure that made it very noisy and very hard to sleep. The building is old and not very well maintained.

The breakast is very good and served with smiles and enthusiasm. The location is good for those who want quiet. Receptionists are also helpful but seem a bit stressed.

Showers and toilets need renovating. Room furnishing is also quite grubby. At about 6 in the morning, the staff were having a loud converstion near the reception and were moving things loudly.

It's was very noisy from other rooms nearby. Children screaming in the corredor at very early hours and people slamming doors. Too many people at the same time in the breakfast room.

Breakfast was very poor. It is quite far from the city centre. Our room had a balcony, which was absolutely dirty, covered in leaves. Very old furniture, wardrobe smelt musty.

If you have booked longer accommondation with breakfast. You can be suprised with same menu (bread, cheese, ham, vegetable, yogurt) option which after week may cause annoying. Due to Covid-19 measures is no buffet you can select food only through contractor. Which slow the process entirely. Better to wake up earlier and stay in queue.

Very friendly and helpful staff on reception. Cleanliness of room was great. Personnel changed our towels regularly.

- Breakfast is served late - 8.30. It’s bad.. You can get better breakfast at a proper hostel. - Zero sound insulation - could hear everybody in the hotel, as well as music in the hallway which I would have preferred not hearing, for example. - Premises need renovation, photos do not reflect the actual condition. The place feels more like dorms with 90ies vibes. - Rooms have balconies but they are not accessible, there are blocks preventing opening. Access doors serve as the only window in the room as well, which means you cannot properly ventilate the room.

+ Got the room switched as initially assigned one had no WiFi connection. + Friendly staff. + Pleasant surroundings, near the beach and river. + Grocery store is just across the street.

The pictures don't show the current condition of the rooms. They need renovation, you can't see the view from the balcony cause of trees. There was a school group, we can't sleep cause of clamor until 2 AM and couldn't change room. The breakfast is continental, but we got 2 pieces of bread.

Good location : bus stop, supermarket is near. Quiet area, near to the river and parks.

It’s very dated, I got stuck in the lift, the groups of young people were very loud(till 11pm ish) and some people actually tried getting into our room, beds were really uncomfortable. Breakfast was disappointing after most food was consumed by the mentioned groups.

Location isn’t that bad, close to the tram stop, I liked the free parking
