Staff could be more helpful. I thought I had lost my wallet and called them to check and they said they wouldn't check until the next day. Obviously when you loose your wallet, you are in a rush to check if you need to cancel credit cards, etc... The person even refused to keep my phone number to call me back just in case they found it. Said the only solution was for me to call the next day. She wouldn't do anything that day.

We are glad from stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff, we didn't have any problem check-in very late. The room fulfilled our expectations. For us very good value for this money. The breakfast was delicious and lot of choice, everyone will find something for yourself. Close to river, we had more distance to city center but we could discover and explore another part more part of city. Shared bathroom but was everything what needed. I can recommend.

A group of young students made A LOT OF NOISE, even after midnight, and devastated the kitchen. They had no supervision from an older person.

Having only one power outlet for a room for 4 people is ridiculous. Also, I wasn’t able to open the window.

there is only ONE dryer in the building that you have to ask in the reception and most of the time that I needed was not available, that was so frustrate.

Is a good place to stay, bus stop very close, quiet neighborhood, staffs are nice, lift, breakfast without many options but fare enough for the price we paid

- It’s a really steep walk from the beach/riverside - Bad connection to the airport by public transport (1h aprox w bus+train) - It’s not like the typical good vibes hostel. The counter staff doesn’t look after you. Don’t expect a smile or genuine « welcome » or extra info. - The place feels old and outdated. The indoors would look more modern and welcoming just with a few photos of Porto or artwork or something. It’s just really basic. Doesn’t feel « homely ». The ourdoor balcony could have couches and chill area ot even more tables to eat. - OK breakfast. Not amazing. Kitchen staff was friendly though. - The fridge was disgusting. Doesn’t look like they clean the inside often even tho they say so. - Bathrooms weren’t super clean either. - From your room, you can hear what’s happening in the corridor. The doors are not noise isolates and the corridors are not acoustically treated so it can get really noisy with the minimum sound. It didn’t bother me much but it would if you are a light sleeper.

- planes landing at Porto airport are preparing at the low high right above this area so it can be pretty noisy at night, - long distance and complicated route to the airport so if you travel in early or very late hours it can be a problem, - every night (at least during my stay) there is a strong smell outside, not sure if it was decaying seaweeds on low tide or some plumbing/sewerage problems in the neighborhood.

+ near the beach and the seaside venues, + lovely walking promenade, + private balcony, + next to the hostel there are bus stops and shops + 24h front desk, + quite spacious and clean.

It’s an old style building that feels dated, I didn’t like the big shared bathroom. It’s just doesn’t have the charm of a traditional Portuguese house like other hostels do.

The room is too hot. You dont have air conditionner. Location of hotel is so far from city center. we have to take a bus about 30m to go to city center. i see that your hotel is 3 stars but you dont have a refrigerator.
