Such a nice and atypical house! Gabriel and Teresa were very welcoming and cheerful, we noticed how much they live this family house and want the best for guests when they leave the house to them. The place is wonderful, 2min walking from city center and natural pools, nice view from the house. Very well equipped and very clean. Decoration is warm and nice

The location is perfect, close to the ocean and a lot of things were close by, like shops restuarants, everything in walking distance.

Nothing, absolutely nothing to complain!

After a very warm welcome from our hosts who gave us a comprehensive tour, we enjoyed 12 wonderful days in the lovingly furnished villa. The outdoor area invited us to relax (and to savour fine barbecues)! Thank you for providing a unique framework for great holidays!

The husband/wife hosts were wonderful, going above an beyond to make this a great experience. There was a heat wave when we arrived which is atypical, so they got us fans the next morning. The location was terrific, both away from the day crowds at the pools but super close to the pools and the restaurants / grocery. The home was well appointed and the kitchen had everything you could need. Real treasure!

I loved everything! :)

Where to start? The villa has by far exceeded our expectations. It is gorgeous, beautifully designed and decorated. This has been much more than a regular holiday house to us. My son ran around the villa like a crazy happy squirell every day. The house is very spacious and there is lots of area for the children. There were moments when we didn't want to go on a planned trip but stay there and just rest :D The rock pool (Natural swimming pool) is just around the corner, so you can go to swim there anytime you wish. You also definitely has to go to Seixal beach (one of the most beautiful in Europe), which is located just 15 minutes by car. We left the house rested and happy. I highly recommend to stay in this villa.

Convenient city location. Hospitable owner who gave recommendations not only on the premises, but also on beautiful places on the island. Beautiful yard, beautiful view. A well-chosen set of tools in the kitchen and laundry room.

Terrific place, spacious, well equipped and maintained. Outdoor area was fantastic, nicely landscaped and lit at night. Tastefully decorated, absolutely lovely and close to all amenities. The sea is a few minutes walk and the grocery store almost next door. Clearly the best part of our two weeks in Madeira.

Nothing - would love to take the villa home!!!

The villa is superb with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal and it's just 2 mins walk to the bathing pools and a good selection of restaurants. Highly recommended. The owners (Gabriel and Teresa) were there to welcome us and explained how everything worked - very friendly and kept in touch during our 5 night stay to check that we were happy 😊.

My husband and I differed on this. He loved the walks and the beauty of the northern side of the island but I felt it to be a little quiet with no atmosphere in the evenings. The weather was better on the southern side but this had nothing to do with the villa which was perfect. The wonderful thing about Madeira is that it is a small island and if you are willing to drive everywhere is accessible. Porto Moniz is quiet, beautiful and we loved the sea view restaurant there. The villa was a stone’s through from the pools with a supermarket a few steps away. The only criticism I have if the villa is that the beds were a bit hard.

The villa especially the garden was beautiful and was exactly as described. The location to the pools and restaurant was fantastic. The scenery was amazing.

There was a lovely welcome basket on arrival! What a treat The beds were so comfortable and all amenities were there!! The wifi better than mine at home! The hammock was terrific for that evening nap!

Minor detail but we found many of the Porto Moniz restaurants/bars focussed on 'day trippers' rather than longer term visitors (with respect to menus and pricing!). Shame we couldn't buy fresh fish at the supermarket.

Ideal location, very central in Porto Moniz, with sea views. Villa well equipped including garage parking. Great place from which to explore north Madeira coast, which is stunning. Hosts were kind, accommodating and welcoming.

Very well equipped house, truly comfortable for longer stay to enjoy the village life and hiking on levadas. Levadas are close by, reachable by taxy or by car or some even on foot, if you are in good shape! The house has also spacy garage for your rental car. Super clean! Beautiful views to the ocean from the balcony! Very nice garden to enjoy the sound of waves and read your book or sit together with your loved ones at the dinner table (cooking is super easy, as the kitchen is very well equipped and the supermarket is next door). The house provides 3 bedrooms and 2 common areas inside which allows also privacy, if travelling with a group. In addition many sitting areas in spacious garden. Would definitely recommend for at least 1 week or longer holidays.
