The spa is small but sufficient, with a pool and two saunas. The rules for the Finnish sauna are a bit unusual. We were informed by the staff that being naked in the sauna is not allowed, and swimwear is mandatory. However, it didn't seem to bother the staff that some guests were sitting in the sauna without a sheet or towel, allowing their sweat to drip onto the wooden benches and floor. When I tried to discuss this with the receptionist, the response was simply "These are the rules in Portugal."

PortoBay Liberdade is a cute small hotel that is excellently located. The staff is very professional, and they are prepared to help you every time.

The Hotel is in a quiet location yet within easy walking distance down a lovely tree lined avenue into the centre. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The Hotel was very comfortable and the Restaurant was excellent and we were very lucky as there was music. Normally, I loathe Hotel "entertainment " but the singer and were accompanying guitarist were amazing.

Well appointed hotel with all the amenities you would want in a good location in the financial district. Nice walk to Commercial Square which is predominantly downhill but could be a little more challenging after a day sight seeing.

The location was great. Right off the main high end shopping street but without all the noise! The room was average size for europe but very comfortable and well appointed. Bathroom was clean and modern with great products. Did not get the breakfast package but heard it was good.

Beautifully maintained hotel in a lovely quiet area of Lisbon. Easy walk through the city to most parts. Staff were exceptional and always smiling. Will stay again if we can come back to Lisbon

The rooms are very small. We were facing the back of the hotel and lots of construction work going on lots of noise, could not sleep that day or lie in the next day due to the noise, which did not make our stay that pleasant unfortunately, they should have moved us, but they did not which once again was very disappointing, staff did nothing to support us here when we asked them. No staff ever on the rooftop for drinks, sat there for two hours saw one member of staff then no one else for the rest of the time I was there to take my order.

The hotel was lovely, it's a great location, breakfast restaurant & bar area great. The main thing with this hotel is your just off the main road in Avenida Liberdade.

The pool and hot tub were lovely, however there were not enough sun beds which meant we were limited on how much time we could spend in the pool. The pillows were too soft for me but that is a preference.

The hotel was not far out from the centre, a few metro stops. The hotel staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The beds were comfy and there was a range of different items at breakfast.

Maybe in the future I would appreciate the windows to be able to open on upper floors. However, the AC worked very well.

Ideal stay for a solo traveller! Staff at every point in the hotel were very helpful, kind and enthusiastic. The hotel lobby/breakfast room has a beautiful designed furnitures and the rooftop is very nice for sunbathing. Generally, great atmosphere!

Swimming pool seemed over chlorinated resulting in our kids having coughs for a few days.
