The house we rented was not as great as the surroundings. It was a bit worn out, and the materials used to build it were of poor quality. It would also be nice if, while renting an apartment, there was salt, pepper, and anything you can use to wash your dishes (plus more than 2 washing machine capsules and more than one additional rubbish bag). These do not cost a lot but would make the stay a bit more organised from the beginning. Moreover, while the neighbours are talking on the balcony during the night, you can hear their every word, unfortunately.

The whole resort is excellent, very beautifully maintained, with great swimming pools and access to the beach. It is very well maintained and excellent for families.

The restaurant and beach bar had limited opening times and the mini market on site was tiny! The local mini market was somewhat limited too so self catering was a bit of a challenge.

The beach was absolutely stunning! There were 3 gorgeous outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools. We enjoyed the football pitch, the tennis courts and the bike hire. Nearby Comporta had some lovely restaurants.

Indoor swimming pool showing signs of long use but water quality good. Access ladder needed repair. Wedding parties “blocked” use of only evening restaurant one day

Apartment was close to main pool and had a view through pine trees to the ocean. Raised boardwalks through the trees are well lit after dark. On site restaurants open for longer during the day than in 2023

Although I acknowledge we staying on a self catering basis it would have been good to have had the villa cleaned once as we were there for 7 days. A couple of areas in the villa required maintenance but we could work around them. Local mini markets on the pricey side for stocking up.

Lovely peaceful location with a beautiful beach. Accommodation very child friendly in our villa with corners of furniture protected in our room which was a nice touch. Staff extremely helpful with a health related incident affecting a senior citizen.

Great place nestled in a beautiful and protected dune landscape.. short walk to the white sandy beach with turquoise waters, a smell of eucalyptus while walking there. Would come back again!

The restaurants and food offer wasn't what we were expecting. The 2 restaurants onsite were only open a couple of days in the week and closed at 5.30pm which wasn't even in time for dinner. The summer season starts the first weekend in June which is when the restaurants open later but it was poor to not offer anything for the evening meal. So we had to drive to a restaurant in the evening. Same with the tiny supermarket, this also closed at 5.30pm the offer was pretty poor and very expensive so we were driving to other local supermarkets to stock up. Therefore you NEED. car otherwise you would not of been able to eat or eat at the times you wanted to. No idea why there wasn't a cafe or bar at the main pool as there was tables and chairs out like there should of been. This is something that is really missing.

The villa was a perfect fit for a family of 5. 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and very clean. The pool was a great size and it was good to have the larger pools to go to aswell. The walk to the beach was fantastic and there was no one on the beach ever, it was beautiful white sands and empty. The area was quiet, clean, well spaced out and thought about. The main pool at the clubhouse is the best larger pool. A good size, also an indoor pool as the outdoor pool isn't heated. Pool table inside for people to play on and wifi.

Mattresses were appalling - could feel the springs, utterly ridiculous. No maid or cleaning - once or twice to freshen towels etc wouldn’t have hurt. Property was on a resort, not quite as described. Not the end of the world but we went out of season and enjoyed it largely to ourselves - imagine the facilities being more than congested mid summer!

Great location, good layout and size. Well equipped. Modern, peaceful and thoughtfully put together resort with easy access to breathtaking beach. Ideal for families.

What we didn’t know in advance is that these villas are owned by random people who rent them out as vacation rentals. So each villa may be equipped differently. We had random people’s family stuff and photos around. Nothing bad, just weird. The location is beautiful but also quite remote especially to get supplies. The two restaurants could open earlier and provide more options for better prices.

The villa was huge and really well equipped, including equipment for children and babies. The beach was amazing too.

The resort is just stunning. We stayed in the eco-vilas with a rooftop pool and it was extremely enjoyable. The apartment was beautifully designed, very functional. Every room had its ensuite bathroom. Walking around the resort was easy and well signed. Really enjoyed our stay!

I think to offer a cleaning service would be necessary for long stay. I would also make it more clear that some units are attached to neighbours which if you are after privacy should be pointed out. Beds were very uncomfortable. I think the service at the small bar at the beach was poor and that facility could be well improved.

Location is obviously good. Moana service and setup was decent.

A few things - the beds were so uncomfortable! Really uncomfortable! Didn’t bother the children and we hated it! We didn’t hire a car and getting here was absolutely fine. While there were a couple of good restaurants and a small shop onsite and supermarket near by we found the food situation stressful at times. Mainly due to having two young children. If we had a car though it wouldn’t have been a problem as we could have got to cafes and restaurants more easily! So one to think about if you aren’t taking a car! We also didn’t have any housekeeping other than pool cleaning for a whole week! And we had to purchase all the basics - washing up liquid, cleaning clothes, loo roll, etc. For the price I really would have expected that to be included and provided! It’s a waste of money and a waste in general as we left masses behind!

The setting is truly amazing! It’s quiet, luxurious and a perfect pool/beach holiday! Our villa was amazing, and the pool fantastic! We had great food when out and the surrounding area is amazing! All in all a really family holiday! The staff also incredibly kind and helpful!
