The view from the roof terrace was amazing. There was free coffee and tea. The staff was really friendly. The location was great - free parking and supermarket about 10 minute walk.

People smoking on the rooftop balcony. I know it's perfectly legal and great for smokers but very unpleasant in that heat. Guests with no sense of doing anything antisocial just chuffing away upwind of us. Perhaps the management could identify where the prevailing wind comes from and designate one corner as the smoking zone?

Room was perfectly adequate for our one night stay. Roof top balcony was fantastic. Location was great, right in the thick of the labyrinth of laneways and with a great cafe, fish restaurant and Indian restaurant down below. Rachel the Manager was super helpful and allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours on the day that we checked out. The free filter coffee was a nice touch and had we known how clean and functional the kitchen was, we would probably have done some cooking.

Stairs a bit steep but that's what these traditional places are like. Also, having the reception next to the room was not ideal.

No instructions on how to use the electric hob so had to find a member of staff to help, who was not very patient with me at all (I believe they were management!). Other staff were brilliant. Our room was a bit hot (no air con in this one) and outside noise woke us early as we had to keep the windows open at night. Staff gave us a fan & did everything they could to make us more comfortable. Thank you.

Location and facilities. One member of staff was particularly wonderful & friendly with local information and advice. The roof terrace is fab and it is spotlessly clean throughout. The staff work hard to make your stay comfortable. Thank you.

Well-located pension. Old style place (felt very authentic, as the old pensions). Even though it looked old, everything was in perfect conditions and very clean. There was a terrace with great views.

Steep stairs to go up. Toilet is a step up, looks like a throne (but not too convenient when sleepy).

Great location and value for money! very nice rooftop to relax. Accommodations in the room Were basic were sufficient. Very friendly staff. Were able to find free parking at a public lot about 5 mins away, but machines are being installed and supposedly since this June this parking lot will no longer be free.

It's an old building. Expect noise.. a lot of noise. Can hear people peeing through the wall. A bit too many emails beforehand, in my opinion.

During the night there was no electricity and the stairs and toilets were very dark.

My room was so comfy and I slept so well. The kitchen facilities were great and the rooftop deck was outstanding with excellent views. Great for a early sunrise breakfast. Everything was very clean.

Fan was installed in the room to keep it cool during the pretty hot night. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Terrace was great, great view over the city.
