The rooftop bar could have been well utilised as it would have been nice to be serve refreshing drinks whilst enjoying the views, you must have had something previously as you did see signs of a bar there but looked like it hadn’t been used for a while. That being said didn’t affect our stay at all.

The property was massive the rooms was so spacious, and well clean. The rooftop terrance had a bar but wasn’t used and it didn’t look like it had been used in a while, that was a small let down. That being said however didn’t stop you taking a beer up and watching the stunning views from the rooftop. The restaurant was lovely and had an opportunity to eat outside and admire the views if you wanted too. It only cost us an extra €10 a night for a room with a balcony which we would recommend. Lovely hotel. One of the best wifi connections I’ve experienced for a hotel in a while each floor had its own wifi connection so you were always well connected!

Breakfast was nice, but the warm buffet was of a low quality. Sausages without taste/structure, scambled eggs too dry.

The breakfast itself has room for improvements. It is really poor and typical food is not in the range of possibilities. Except for a few exceptions, the staff in the hotel could have shown a bit more courtesy.

The hotel is in a very good area of Funchal and all the points of interests are a few steps away from it. We loved its location. The terrace at the 6th floor is also great for a view of the city. Breakfast with Funchal view was very nice.

Good hotel, close to the center of Funchal. The breakfast is good, but nothing special. Overall good place to stay, everything is clean and nice.

We asked the hotel about local parking and they were not really helpful with finding parking. We then asked when we were at the hotel, they told us to park in the space in front of the hotel but didn’t tell us that it closes at 9 and on Sunday which meant we couldn’t get our car. Breakfast was okay, but the lady that’s constantly collection the plates is extremely loud so it wasn’t very realxing.

The hotel was located in the city so it’s really easy to get around town. The rooms were a decent size with a good bathroom and shower. The hotel also has a rooftop which overlooks the city, lovely to watch the world go by.

We had a room right next to the central ventilation unit which made noise. Sound insulation could be better.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the location is great, the breakfast is plentiful and the food is fresh.

I choose a room with bath tub in the bathroom but it could not be used as a tub, only for a shower. However, when we asked the receptionist if there was any plug to the tub they immediately gave us one.

The location is perfect. The breakfast was fine. The view from the rooftop terrace is so nice. At the reception we could leave our luggages until the check-in, they were really helpful.

Didn’t help me when I lost my ring upstairs and staff staring at me the entire time I was there; no idea why. Intimidating but good facilities
