Great place to stay and relax particularly if you are walking the fisherman’s trail. A great selection offered for breakfast. Staff were helpful. Rooftop bar and pool were a bonus.

Staff were so kind, but all very new -- they didn't have a lot of answers to our questions about the trail or dinner recommendations. However there was a book to consult with more details, so that helped.

Breakfast had tons of variety and was super-fresh. Twin room was small but clean, as expected. Our patio door opened onto the pool, which was great. The Rota Vicentina (Fisherman's Trail) starts right outside the door, which was perfect!

The bathrooms. Very dark, narrow toilets. Also the bunkbed was fine, but the stairs were kind of painful and the 'reading lights' are flashlights, not to be used at all if you want to read when others are trying to sleep.

Room was very small. We could not open luggages on the floor.

Location of the hostel is superb. We had sea view with a small seating area next to our room and it was spectacular to watch the sunset. It is right next to the ocean, you could hear it all day and night. Atmosphere in the hostel is very good, everyone is relaxed and friendly. Location is convenient for those that will go on the route by foot. Breakfast was very good.

Dorm room was quite small, it was for four people but there were two of us and it was good for two.

The only thing I can note were the showers. The lighting is not enough! It gets super dark when you're showering.

I had a great stay at MUTE! This place is unbelievably well located just close to the waterfront. The staff was always super nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and the facility is really cozy. Also, the breakfast is really good! All types of bread, toppings, juice, milk, it has everything you need to get your morning going.

We arrived early, 2 hours prior to checkin and the room was available. However, the girl at check in said it would not be ready early. And in fact she had to rush to get it ready when the time came she made the bed quickly and we were only able to get access 30 minutes after checkin time. She could have accommodated us in 20 minutes instead of 2.5 hours and late

Everything! This was an exceptional stay. Can’t beat the location, the views, the staff, the amazing breakfast. We had a room by the pool, which was quiet and views straight on the ocean. Thee sunset on the roof top was stunning. All staff were friendly and accommodating

Daughter and I started on Fisherman's trail from Porto Covo. This was a perfect location for that start. Not a big place but even with many guests is was very quiet. The breakfast was one of the best ones I've had.

Limited ability to wash/dry clothes for those who are trekking and need to do the wash each day. Room was a little cramped when more than one person was using their locker.

Fantastic views of the ocean. Great communal living spaces. Decent number of toilets/showers for the number of people.

Very small rooms and narrow common areas. Trouble showering as the bathrooms are shared and there is no place to change and leave the clothes (you can do it in shower but its wet). Drainage is not working well.

Place for friendly and open minded people. They accomodate with style.
