It is very difficult to find a property like this that isn’t “boho”. Lovely, modern, interesting and best location in Fuzeta and great WiFi too.

A flexible shower head holder would be better .I accidentally flooded bathroom floor when I turned on the shower cause it was not possible to manouvere the shower head without taking the shower head off the holder on wall .just a suggestion.🙂

Unique type of property. We loved the fact it was near wet land where the tide comes in and out lots of birds and flamingos. Everything in the room was well thought of and very special. Quiet and comfortable we would come back and recommend. Thank you Margarida for a special lovely stay.

The noisy fridge. We know this area well but it might be a good idea to provide more information on the area in the rooms.

Unique accommodation in splendid natural setting yet close to town and the beach. Breathtaking views from our room and terrace. Simply but tastefully furnished spacious room. Loved that we could walk amongst the nature reserve and see all sorts of birds including spoonbills and flamingoes. When the tide was out we could see fiddler crabs from our terrace. The sunrises were spectacular.

This was a really unique experience, I loved everything the positioning, the beautiful bedrooms, our gorgeous blue door! , fantastic views, a really warm welcome and the unbelievable chance to go bird spotting 💗 6.30am in the morning I got up at sun rise and the saltpans were teaming with Flamingos and other beautiful birds , It really is special🦩 We also had a fabulous meal at one of the restuarants recommended by the host We certainly will be back for such a tranquil relaxing visit Muito Obrigado Julie and Dino This is the first time the photos on the site are not as good as when you see for real !!

We had only planned for one night here at the end of our visit to Portugal however the previous hotel was not to our liking so Moinhos das Mares were able to facilitate us a day early. We are so grateful for that as this is such a beautiful place to stay and see flamingos.

We dealt with 2 members of staff, one was bordering rudeness when the other one Suzanna was very kind and helpful. The tapas bar was closed.

The Tapas Bar/Restaurant being part of the building can be problematic, if you have light sleep. It would make sense to have a better noise insulation of the room's door.

Our sleep was disturbed by barking dogs for a couple of hours during the night, as well as a creaking noise coming from the ceiling (we had no idea what was causing it!). The restaurant was closed on the day we arrived which was unfortunate as there are seemingly few options in town for a good meal.

The property is located in an attractive location surrounded by water. It's a bird watcher's paradise as flamingos and many other water birds are feeding just metres away. The room was spacious and very adequate. There was plenty of private parking. Wi-fi was sufficient for video streaming. Breakfast was good although it was not included in the room rate.

Best place ever to go birdwatching! Can even do it out of the window. Great dinner and breakfast as well.
