Very friendly staff (especially Fatima), welcoming and comfort place. A lot of wine (2k+ bottles) and the owner helped us to choose nice local one. Lots of pillows, stylish room with air-condition, tv and minibar. And jacuzzi in the room! We have a room with terrace, so breakfast was served there - calm and quite. We were celebrating birthday and receptionist lady contact me before our arriving and prepared a little surprise, that was very kind and sweet, I really appreciate it.

Such an interesting property with the most beautiful touches, including a room with a piano, guitar, hi fi, vinyl records to indulge yourself. How can you imagine behind the front door there is a climate controlled wine cellar, the kindest staff, a beautiful dog, gorgeous pool. The food and wine are off the scale. We are foodies and have owned our own restaurant, so we know that good looks and tastes like. This was a treat evening and we in indulged in the four course menu. These guys must be missing a Michelin star. We took a wine flight of chef recommendations. It was exceptional.

Suggest providing notice about the pool as it was cold and that the hot tub was not available.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Facilities/room were very nice and bed was exceptionally comfortable. Nice sitting areas. Happy to be off the main drag which made for a quieter stay and everything was within walking distance. The pool was cold so we didn’t use it and the hot tub was under repair and not available. Thank you for a great stay.

Accommodation was extremely unique. Owner has a passion for wine and there were dinner options and wine pairing that made the experience unforgettable. Both food and wine were excellent. Location within walking distance of shops and facilities. Decor lovely and comfortable. Hosts very welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

€20 each for breakfast per day was a little steep, so we opted out. Other than that, nothing!

Very quiet, location was brilliant and the bed was so comfy! Staff were really friendly and accommodating, although we didn’t spend that much time in the hotel unfortunately! Rooms were cleaned and bed was made every day. We would definitely stay here again

This guest house was like a little hidden oasis, it didn’t look much from the outside but once inside, it revealed a series of beautiful rooms and space. My room was enormous with a terrace overlooking the pool area. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location was fairly central but far enough away to be nice and quiet. It was a 12 minute walk to the ferry terminal to get to the beaches and not even 5 minutes to the old town.

Loved everything about it. Such kind people and done really nicely. 2 short stays in quick succession and will definitely be going back again. The food is excellent and wine and port education great.

The breakfast was fantastic every morning with a great spread. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make everything perfect. The dinner at the restaurant was 10/10 along with the wine and port tastings. The walls and walls of wines is any wine lovers dream. I would come back here in a heart beat. Nothing , it was all wonderful

The wonderful staff , they were all so welcoming and helpful. We had the most enjoyable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Juan & Pre. The facilities were great, beautiful setting and peaceful. The whole place is gorgeous , from the decor to the quaintness. It was a delight! The pool was gorgeous, sunloungers would be of huge benefit instead of deck chairs. Food was very good and the choice was vast. The wines were amazing
