Nothing. Room isn’t huge if that’s something you care about but the bed is very comfy and the room has beautiful authentic tiling.

The bed was very comfy, location was unbeatable, staff very friendly. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee were left for us each day which was very nice. The owner was outstandingly pleasant and thoughtful, even providing excellent local recommendations for the area.

The location of Downtown Inn was perfect, very central to shops and cafes and about a 10 minute walk to the river front, its convenient location really enhanced our stay. Our host Vanda couldn’t have been more helpful, organising a taxi for our return trip which was very early in the morning, to sending links to places she recommended we try and visit. She was so helpful and kind and really, nothing was too much trouble!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center, putting you in the heart of everything. There are fantastic restaurants, bars, and a supermarket just steps away, making it incredibly convenient. The room, while small, was very comfortable. I knew about the room size from other reviews, so it met my expectations perfectly. Despite being in the center, the area was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, providing a nice retreat after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, cozy rooms, and the convenience of nearby amenities. It's an excellent choice for anyone wanting to be in the middle of the action yet enjoy a quiet, restful stay.

The property is located at the heart of touristic center. Vanda is an excellent property owner. She dealt personally with our needs. Very clean and easy to reach place with public transport. Since its at the touristic center avoid the tourist scams around the property. Vanda provided excellent recommendations about where to eat and how to avoid nearby scams. Will definitely be my first choice next time when I visit Lisbon.

Fantastic location, close to restaurants, bars and all sightseeing destinations. Very clean. Being right in the city centre, the room was very quiet. After check out we were allowed to leave our bags in the hotel until departure.

Some difficulty finding it, we walked right past it the first time. The sign is hard to see and from the outside you only see a big brown door. Some confusion on how to enter and where to go once you are inside, instructions could be more clear.

Safe and central location, easy walking to shops and restaurants and many points of interest. Staff was very pleasant and gave us good suggestions on activities. Room was small (as advertised), but clean and comfortable.

The location of the hotel is perfect. You are close to everything. The beds were the most comfortable that we slept in during our trip. The owner is wonderful to talk to and very helpful. Considering how close it is to everything, it is very quite.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of downtown. I was able to walk to shops and restaurants easily. I felt very safe in the neighborhood this Inn was located. Easy to access the metro and trams. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I had a great time! Would recommend this hotel to everybody!

Our hostess was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a super-clean bijoux room with a large bathroom and fridge. Lots of little extra touches made our stay very easy - provision of toiletries, bottled water as well as tea and coffee making items; plenty of space for hanging clothes and bags, even a little table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable and shower always hot. Downtown Inn is truly in the heart of Lisbon, with the buzz and relaxation of cafes in the streets outside and yet we heard no noise inside our room due to excellent double layer windows. We could walk everywhere in the main town in minutes (15 mins to the castle, 5 mins to the lift to the convent) or to the trams and buses taking us further afield. Right next door is an amazing cafe - Cafe Niclaus - for breakfast and 2 mins away is a mercado supermarket. On the last day we needed to leave our bags due to a late flight home. On picking them up, we were also able to freshen up in a private restroom. Overall highly recommended.
