It got quite stuffy within the room at the end of May early July as the room is quite small. The fan didn't help too much. The bed was a bit small too but that's really nitpicking.

The location is close to great views over the city but also uo a very tall hill. The staff were very helpful and accomodating and the check in and out were perfectly smooth.

The central and beautiful location, the spotless cleanliness of the whole place (room, bathroom, common areas), messages over the phone to check how it went. Bonus for having Omar as the perfect host.

There was only one small window which did not give onto an outside view but rather allowed air in from a common area which did have an outside window. I imagine with two people sharing in hot weather it could get a little stuffy (hence, I suppose, the fan). The fridge was set to switch on intermittently and the noise was slightly disturbing for a light sleeper. Other than that, it was generally quiet - guests are requested to refrain from making too much noise in the evenings and I had no cause to complain on that score.

The room was of reasonable size and had an en suite bathroom (toilet, wash basin and shower). The bed was comfortable and there was a fan, a TV and a fridge/mini bar. There is no reception - checking in is "self service" - so make sure you familiarise yourself with the entry procedure (involves keypads) especially if you are arriving at night or you may spend a lot of time fumbling around! Once in your room you will find keys and a fob for the door locks and won't need the key codes which you will have been given when booking (only need for initial entry).

It could be a bit noisy at times if other guests set off or arrive at night. But the host has put up signs to remind ppl.

Great location, at the highest point of the city. So everyday when you set off it is downhill walk. It is in a quiet place, but very close to some local supermarket s so easy to get supplies if you need it. Host is very good in providing instructions on how to get there and how to open the door etc.

The picture of my room when I made the booking was very different from the room that I got. I'm not a fan of the attic because I'm very tall, but it was still a good room.

The location was perfect, there is a Miradouro right in front and the 28E tram passes very closely. The communication with the host was really easy and they were very accommodating to make sure I could leave my luggage after check out while I went and visit the city since my flight was at night.

It is what it is, but you need a key to your bathroom, and it's outside of your own room, but it's easy and all, just in the night you kind of had to walk out your room through the kitchen and then to your bathroom

The location is perfect! On Saturday morning there is a market right in front of the door, where you can find nice handcrafted items. There are a lot of cafes and restaurantes around just by walking distance. If you enjoy walking, you can also walk from there to some historical attractions, such as the Castle. The room was very clean and cosy. Everything was honestly above my expectations.

I was mistakenly given wrong access so I couldn’t enter my room. The phone number that was provided wouldn’t pick up as it was late at night. Some tenants helped me contact the other owner and unlocked for me. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The place really could do with a re-decoration. The shower curtain falls OUTSIDE the shower. There are steep stairs up to the room.

The room was quite warm upon arrival, if it hadn't cooled down overnight it would have been quite difficult to sleep in... I don't know how it is in winter though, as I travelled in July.

The Location is just excellent! There are many restaurants, bars, bakeries and historic sights all within walking distance of the apartment. Also you can walk down tot he sea and take a bus or a tram back up. The room was very clean and tidy, getting set up and entering the building proved to be very easy and well explained by the owner. Wi-Fi connection was also fast and stable. I also loved the balcony overlooking the Graca cathedral.

Receiving several emails about needing to do the online check-in, starting a week in advance, which meant that the emails with important information were hard to find. The house was a bit tricky to find and accurate directions / check-in info was not included in the 1 million emails they sent in advance. The room was very small and hot, though they did have a fan. There was only 1 flimsy pillow. I've stayed in much more comfortable rooms for a similar price in Lisbon.

We couldn't seem to make the A/C work - I think it was broken? However there was also a fan in the room which was sufficient so we used this instead. There was a very busy and very loud organised street party directly outside the accommodation for all the nights we were there. We didn't know this event was going to be on. We found this quite entertaining so it wasn't a problem for us, but it was very, very loud until 3am. It would be good in future to give guests visiting on these dates a heads up that there will be a lot of noise so it isn't a surprise.

We knew in advance that the room would be small, but it was perfectly formed - really well thought out in a way that meant the room's size wasn't an issue at all for us. The bed and bedding was really comfortable, everything very clean, staff responsive and kind. I enjoyed being able to access free coffee and tea and having a small balcony. It is a great location and neighbourhood.
