There is nothing at all to dislike about the hotel, setting nor staff

Beautifully refurbished hotel in a fabulous setting. Garden views to the front with the river to the rear. Really quiet peaceful location but right in the old town close to absolutely everything Top quality beds, linens and furnishings. The staff were all so helpful friendly and welcoming. Our whole stay was a joy and we would highly reccomend this place

Nothing!

Location is perfect across the river in a park so quiet with private parking, but only a short stroll into town. Beautiful room with river view, great bathroom. Also used the spa facility which is half inside, half out overlooking the river. Coffee maker in room and very understanding about an accidental spillage. Would love to come here again!

What not to like.

Staff was great and the food omogad, it was deliziouz. The spot is perfecly placed and the spa is a perfect for leasuring.

mouldy smell in the shower; the pool is (very) small

very good breakfast buffet; very good dinner too. Located in a beautiful park surrounded by water, close to the centre and the castle. Friendly staff, we could check in at 11:00 AM, 4 hours before regular time :-)

One of the best hotel in Portugal. The SPA clean and nice organised. The rooms!:plant of charm with the all modern facilities. The team was great, specialy Patricia who was a profesional host and charming woman . Cloth to the center of Thomar, in the middle of a nice park, great place to spend time.

The only bummer was that the sauna was out of service, because one of the reasons we chose this stay was for the sauna and indoor pool!

The location is amazing! Right in the center of the park, beside the river. It’s beautiful, the decor, the room was clean and comfortable, with everything you need for an amazing stay.

Price was steep for a small room with balcony. Limited parking on the island.

Staff helped us find parking during an event in town, move our luggage, opened spa for us next morning (Patricia). Food for a catered meeting was excellent. Bar staff was good. Desk staff was great.

Lovely hotel in historical city center, great breakfast, beautiful, clean and well renovated rooms with great view. Walking distance to all city landmarks and a number of wonderful restaurants. Looking forward to come back next time we’ll be in Tomar.

No lounge/ bar area where you could have sat with a glass of wine. Rooms were too dark, we prefer more natural light.

Maybe because the indoor and outside pools are connected, the indoor pool is not warm. The sauna has a glass door that doesn't close properly and lets the cold from the outside come in. For a 4-star hotel, I expected better shampoo and shower gel.

The room is okay. The restaurant in the hotel serves nice food, but it is a bit overpriced. The breakfast is good. The location is really good. You can get a garden/castle view or a river view. The surroundings are perfect for a morning run.
